@@69metersbelow25 Dr.Mario's recovery is very bad. Dr.Mario's movement speed is one of the worst in the game. Dr.Mario's range is worse than Mario's range. Air mobility and laggy moves are pretty bad. Those are his main weaknesses that didn't get touched in 7.0.0 *or* in 8.0.0
@@grotto185 He got buffed a lot in 7.0 actually. His down tilt and down air combo better, down air has more active frames and forward tilt, neutral air and up special got stronger launch.
Dang that last game, imagine if Locus read the airdodge, like read a read. He could resetted and done something crazy like more damage or maybe even a kill!
DavidJacomeTCP I like dr Mario much more, but Mario is better. Doc’s extremely exploitable recovery ruins him. IMO, If he just had average recovery, he would be a pretty great character and be even with Mario.
AceBattleStorm it’s all in his down b that makes his current recovery reasonable. If you master the arts of his down b and use it very effectively when getting back on the arena, then that’s where you become unpredictable and it becomes much easier to get back on your feet. With the down b, you can choose how high you want to go without fearing that you’ll expose yourself to your opponent.
DavidJacomeTCP nah his recovery is too linear to be of much use and once you commit to using the tornado all I have to do is time my next hit because you can’t act immediately after using
PRL 412 what do you mean linear? The tornado move can move left and right depending on where you point the stick and can move up and down depending on how much you press the b button, useful to get out of situations rather than aiming towards players from a far distance, especially Ganondorf.
Mario has better speed better combos faster attacks and better recovery but dr Mario is by far more powerful even tho he's more slower and has a hard recovery.
HEHEHE I AM A SUPAHSTAR WARRIA Doc can recover, too. Mash the tornado when you’re off-screen and you gain massive leverage in his recovery. Once you learn this, his recovery is 10 times better.
@@zFunnyBoy_ This is false. The only way a character can be objectively worse is if they have the exact same moves and stats, but one of the characters is debuffed. This is not the case, as Dr. Mario has different moves and damage/speed multipliers. Objective is not the same as subjective.
