I love this video because of how real it is. You seem just like a regular family doing regular life, not to mention the burger looked phenomenal. Thank you for sharing!
I’ve got to say these were hands down the best burgers I’ve ever made, thick and juicy and I had everyone asking how I made them. Didn’t have a flat iron press all I used was a small pot about the size of a burger to smash them and they were so good. Had to come back and thank this RU-vidr. Great job!!
Thank You for actually saying how long to smash (10 Seconds). Just watched about 5 of these smash videos and not one person said how long to do it for.
Thank you so much for making this video! I've been watching smashburger videos but everyone had these big outdoor griddles or fancy, oversized indoor ones and I was hesitant to try in my regular pan. You made it look so easy and...it was! My husband raved about them! Thanks for taking the time!! YUM!
Looks awesome! I've been making them like this for some time, I've learned that using drawn butter helps prevent the butter from burning and ya get less smoke in the house. Just melt the butter in the microwave and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, scoop out and discard the milk solids and you're left with the clear butter that has a higher smoke point.
i watched a video with the owner of smashburger. I think he said they used salt and pepper, and garlic salt. also he puts parchment paper on top of the burger before he presses it down
@@purpstatus You misinterpreted my comment. Don't get me wrong, I love big, fat, juicy burgers cooked to medium, medium rare. But in this video, as stated in his description had you bothered to read it, he is cooking it the "smash burger" way. Smash burger only uses about 2 to 2.5 oz of burger, then piles 2-3 of them on each bun. Per typical douche bags on RU-vid, you commented on a post without knowing what the fruck you're talking about. Before embarrassing yourself in the future, make sure you understand what you're responding too before hitting enter. Congrats on your successful burger joint. What does horse meat taste like anyway?
I love this video because it has everything about family life and what it's really like in real time while you're cooking a hamburger I'm going to share this video on my Facebook page because this is some real stuff dude and I like the way you did your burger in a cast iron frying pan smashed it down and it looked really good and your information that you were giving in the video was good information keep making videos Man I liked it enough to share it on my Facebook page
They look amazing. Thanks for the cast iron skillet idea but I think I’m gonna make mine outside on the deck using an electric hot plate and cast iron skillet because it looks like the grease is spattering everywhere and I hate messy cleanups.
This was the most pleasing video I've watched on here in a very long time.... Lovely family so nice to see.... good look'n Burgers too man... cheers from Newfoundland :)
Do what shake shack does and use a spatula. They use 2 actually, 1 to smash the burger and 1 to smash it down with by using the handle to push down on other spatula.
I LOVE this!! when the day comes you are excited to make a Smashburger and you make your own burger smasher ! Kids Dogs Wife moving in on your burger You are not only making great burgers but great memories!! Great Job Mom and Dad!
Some tips: you can do this with a stiff metal spatula, smash more on outer edges for more crisp, salt the ball of meat before smashing, use peanut oil instead of butter for more crisp
I can see you like cooking too! I got a blackstone griddle last summer and have been making smash burgers on it and man are they good! You should pick one up, it will make you want to cook on the griddle every day! Burgers look good
That family is adorable...the lil girl when asked by mom said...”I don’t like the taste of it but it’s still good” Ya cause daddy rocks no matter what!
You need to get the burger to stick as part of the crust formation then use a metal utensil to scrape it off. Nonstick coating couldn't be worse for the job unfortunately. Made some myself today and they absolutely were delicious. Lodge does amazing pre seasoned skillets and they're pretty cheap on Amazon
RU-vid must’ve read my mind this morning lol! Preparing to make them this afternoon on my outdoor griddle! Made the big Mac sauce this morning LOL before I saw this video
Love it ! With all these views on here but not 1k subs (like myself), did RU-vid pay you ? Or must have 1K subs? Good burger man I’m making it tonight!
