The most bullet proof thing in my experience is to go with a shortened oil pan and a skin plate off the Busaru crossmember. I may even start offering that as a feature - may not be all that necessary though...
+Peterowsky this has nothing to do with the 1000 mile test drive, this happened to my persona bus while off-roading. I drove it for a year like that! Haha
I think what he means is from the 2:00 minute mark until the end of the video, there's a link to another one of your videos. But that link perfectly covers up the installed oil pan so we can't see anything during the last 11 seconds of the video. Like so: i.imgur.com/ZLEq6ne.png
Fail...at the reveal final shot all I can see is an ad for another one of your videos. View of the newly installed pan blocked by friggen ads that you can't get rid of.
Hey Mick - Two things.... Other than thanks again for so much information on your channel! How much shorter is the pan and oil pick up from stock? Is your lower water neck aluminum? If so, do you know what years are aluminum so I can swap one out for my plastic? Then I can weld AN fittings onto supply and return to run a safer radiator for my buggy.
+Marshall Webber Well, really it's just cost. My personal projects get little to no love when it comes to the bank account. If I had unlimited budget I'd go with the Killer Bee pan that Outfront offers. Just lots of money for a very basic device. So far, I've been very very very pleased with their modified pan.
So I did an idiot thing and swapped a Subaru rs to a wrx body. I changed engine bay wiring and under the dash wiring but the car still won’t start all I hear is clicks like if relays were clicking. Fuel pump doesn’t prime nothing works it’s just clicks on and offf. The engine cranks over but the car just won’t start idk what to do o do t know if it’s my ecu or not I do t want to spend money buying things and not being the problem
