These little one minute hints are gold. Whether I agree/disagree, been there done that and moved on; the one minute hits have the opportunity of pushing out out an occasional gem for each person who comes to look. Well done!!

The binders are great. Tip: print out a checklist so restock is easy, put it in the binder.

If you get through hole resistors on small belts: baseball card ring binder sorters work very well!

The snap boxes and pill organizers are also very handy for electronics repair, especially for screws

Ring binder is my favorite. 0402, *0603*, and 0805, 12xx. R's, C's, Inductors, FB's, more. Plus small actives up to 8 pin analog/logic. Some books use all vinyl construction and tend to be least expensive, but ring binders can be modified. Add pages, etc.

In auto zone they had the indivisual gaskets organized by number in a file sleeves inside a file cabinet.

I have 3 of those binders, life savers , i reuse empty strips for saving stripped parts from scavanging pcbs

Haha.. I actually use sectioned pill boxes for DIP through hole ICs. Since there are so many different variants and I will have only 1 or 2 of each. Its easy.

I have this small bit still quite big storage box for most of my smd components tho I need more space as I need to make a lot of one board. So I will probably buy a small wall like storage, preferably modular with different sizes of containers.

Someone needs to design a version that's a blend of a pez dispenser and a syringe. Fishing a tiny component out of those tiny boxes with my fat fingers is a busted way doing this.

Also surface mount components need to have post-it note style adhesive on them.

Wouldn't SMT Tubes be the solution? You still have to careful when removing the parts and and placing the plunger back on time tho

@@Scott_C I don't think that Glue will Bond with PCB that well especially on High Temperatures. And what's PEZ tho?

They are Surface Mounted Devices Electronic circuit boards have Integrated Circuit Chips Installed on them and some circuit boards still have diodes, capacitors, resistors and other devices that are mounted on the circuit boards that are not inside the I.C. chip.
