He came and he went just as quick! He was here today gone by breakfast! All that it factor he had didn’t matter cuz nobody now remembers him cuz we have P Diddy now!
He was just a damn kid when he died. 27 years is not even close to half the average lifespan. He went far too young. R.I.P. Kurt. Thank You for being there back then for all of us akward and confused kids. You seemed like a distant older brother. Rest In Paradise. . . 🕯Rest In Nirvana🕯
@@rollinstoned6311 You can say that again. Don't get it twisted I love Nirvana but AIC never had the chance to even be a complete band. Man in the Box is discovered n picked up on MTV and before the greatest album Dirt could be recorded they were already heavily into smack, mainly Layne. Mike was a pill popper. It's so strange to me that everybody remembers unplugged as this last hurrah but they hadn't toured in years. They hardly toured at all. They were revered for the tunes and the one n only combo of Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell that had the most gorgeous and haunting harmonies ever put on a record. You'll never hear that again. Their voices were made to fit with the other and it was eerie the 6th sense they had when to jump in n out. I hope all those singers we lost in my generation have found happiness somewhere
@@lolcr0ss?🏼 didn't sing very well? wow.. I'm genuinely sorry for you for your inability to hear the musicality and beauty in his singing. Countless of amateur and professional singers have tried to emulate his truly unique singing voice and nobody comes close. I listen to all kinds of music and I get similar chills listening to Nirvana as I do listening to classical orchestras.
@@Nirvana-For-AllYes, April 5, 1994 it'll be 30yrs. RIP❤Kurt April 5, 2002 was the day that Layne Staley from Alice in Chains passed away as well. RIP❤Layne 2 Musical Geniuses gone but never forgotten💔
Same thing my parents have done when I was young. My dad would always play nirvana, DRI, or other Rick bands on the TV or in the car. I'm now 18 years young still listening to the same bands
Did he take this seriously? Not trying to hate but I thought his voice sounded worn out and crackly. I've seen far better Smells Like Teen performances
@@DavidMartinez-pg3zqwell considering he had just OD’d the night before, I think he sounded great. I actually love this performance - Kurt’s deeply desolate and troubled aura embodies the spirit of this song and grunge in general imo.
Он потрясающий... Этот голос, эта подача музыки-вышка... !!! Бальзам на душу❤... Наркотики-зло!... Очень жалко что так мало прожил... А мог бы ещё творить...Nirvana with love❤
Iconic moment. I was 18 and a music freak. It's strange cuz it's cliché to say now, but I already had Bleach and thought it was good but when I heard this song my first thought was this is new n different and I could feel the musical revolution coming. Somehow I just knew this would change Rock n Roll and that sound was coming from Seattle
@Cactkydfa Eff em. I don't consider myself old. These f'n zoomers are always putting my generation down (Gen X). And they call us Boomers. That was my parent's generation. The hippies n shit. I'm 48 n couldn't care less what some snot nosed kid thinks about what I say about music. It was a joke. If you hang around music taste type discussions long enough they'll come atcha. Tell em what you said lol
My teenage son loves Nirvana, introduced to him by me of course. You gotta show new generation how the real music sounds like cuz they don't have a clue as they're mislead by today's music channels, forcing them to accept below average out of tune and distorted sounds that they call music these days...
This song brings back memories of my youth Kurt Cobain you are not forgotten you are living through our hearts and through our mind's forever and ever..........!!!!!!!! Very good live performance......
Legend. I remember when music in general just seemed to completely change overnight. It was special. Thinking about it literally brings up this weird emotional split second moment where I almost burst into tears like a wave that crashes, then it goes away. It's like there's nothing else I can compare it to. I love it. A microsecond of every emotion exploding at the same time. It's gotta be a common thing cause videos are still being made every day. Kids are walking around with the black and yellow, and/or white smiley face and they have NO idea it's a Nirvana shirt, they just saw it at Hot Topic or some place. But damn dude, what an amazing and generational shift that happened and yes there were other bands but without a doubt, Kurt Cobain was the reluctant face and voice of that shift. I can easily imagine Kurt and Pac chilling in heaven or hell or whatever the hell is after this life thing and talking about the deepest and the silliest things together. Music died in the mid 90s. All that we have and have had since is just the fading of the flame that made music special. I listen to it and tell myself it's great music but it can not be compared to what Kurt and Nirvana did to music. They didn't just make music, they made people change the way they listened to music. I didn't give a damn about music except for it being a background audible aesthetic until Nirvana made me feel music. This whole "woke" crap would have been ripped into pieces and set on fire back then. People forgot about the two middle fingers and the sack of balls they have, or their lovely "Moist Vagina". Yes, that's a Nirvana reference
His style, his voice, the incredibly good music. I was 16 at the time, we knew it was good, we liked it, but it wasn't until later that we realized how special Kurt was. It's a shame he had to die so early. But he is a musician of modern times, there are videos and his music is pressed and saved and so he has become immortal and will live on forever. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
This is truly the only song that I remember 30yrs later the exact time and place I first heard it. I knew things had changed. Generally when I really like a song it has to grow on me. I almost always hate my favorite music initially.
Wondrous sight & sound. One of the few songs which always resonates and tears me apart. Could listen to it forever and ever♾ Such a deep deep dive 🔥🔥🔥⚡️✨💫
