Thank you to whoever suggested this. I have been watching all their videos. And they did a whole concert i guess. It is such a great concept. I love it. You can't help but smile. Such positivity !!!!
This was so cool! I wonder of Dave Grohl or any members of Nirvana have seen Guys should react to the British girl, Nandi Bushell, who challenges Dave Grohl to a drumming contest. He accepts the challenge and it’s so great.
@@jamesjoseph1249 not only Dave Grohl watched the video he replied in Italian and a few months later the band went to Italy and performed in Cesena for 4800people. Without the Rockin'1000 video Foo Fighters would have never gone to play in such a small city but thanks to the video they went.4800 people was the max capacity of the available venue.
I was in 6th grade and remember the radio pausing music and saying 'breaking news Kurt Cobain has died" was so sad at the time I have never seen this version of teen spirit this is awesome 🙋♂️waving hello from Florida love this channel
Kurt Cobain was actually influenced by the chords in More Than A Feeling in making the riff for Smells Like Teen Spirit. He played that Boston riff in Reading before jumping into SLTS. Good spot!
You need to start at the beginning - they originally came together to play for the Foo Fighters so they'd perform in their town in Italy. David Grohl responded to there invitation and they did perform there.
Thank you so much for reacting to this! This is one of my absolute favorite videos on RU-vid. If you get a chance the story of how this all started is really incredible.
That would be LOUD live...I participated in a retirement concert for a percussion professor a few years ago. We had, at last count, 67 percussionists on stage (I'm one by default), on a stage that comfortably fits 20 musicians. We easily hit 130 dB. I lost one of my ear buds on the way up to the stage from the audience. Luckily it was the 'offstage' side. Ears still rang for a few days! The green room for the event was literally stacked with drums, many of which were branded with either bands they were with/session musicians on, or regiments of the Canadian Armed Forces they played with both as reservists and hired musicians. It was incredibly loud and awesome!
Lol and I'll be one of the few to say..it's better. Kurt Cobain sounded like a dying cat. Call it emotion for grunge but he was rhe worst singer of the grunge bands ...unless you count courtney
This would be so much fun until it all ends and you realize you gotta pack up your drum kit and wait for a thousand other fucks to get out of the way so you can go home.
If you would like to react to more rock/metal based songs, please react to Aesthetic Perfection with their songs: Gods and Gold (with Richard Z Kruspe from Rammstein on guitars) Party Monster (with Jinxx of Black Veil Brides) S E X/Gravity (with Sebastian Svalland of PAIN and Lindemann)
I've recommended Chris Stapleton fire away... great song great video! I've seen others suggest whiskey lullaby and lots of like Toby Keith and what not... so maybe some will come up soon
Hey Gents, Just discovered your channel. Would live to hear you review Canadian Tom McDonald Brain Washed. He self produces and completely independent and topping Billboard across genera. I am not normally attracted to his style of music but he is lyrical genius and has messages that are thought provoking.
I recommended like a stone by Audioslave for 4+ months, they finally did it a few weeks ago, they probably have a lot of suggestions ahead of urs so might take awhile to get to, or could do it tomorrow 🤷♂️ u never know
It's amazing to me how many fans of metal dislike/refuse to understand early Tupac, don't know what Nas rapped about, and dislike/have never heard of Joyner Lucas, H.E.R & J.Cole & Kendrick Lamar. Their music is similar to a lot of metal topics in talking about environmental conditions, woes of fame, anti-authority, authenticity. They just do it with fire ass beats and ad libs. Not all rap music is like this obviously, but neither is all metal like Nirvana, Metallica or Slayer. Some of it can't even pass as metal.
