I got the new version last week and had no idea they had updated it. I couldn’t be happier! The updated one is incredible. I was just glad they restocked the belt, and can’t believe it’s even better than I was expecting compared to the reviews of the belt I had seen. Great comparison bro.

@@rxflyfishing1316 yep. I think I am going to return it. It smells up the entire room and the smell sticks to my hands and shirt if it touches the belt.

@@Nightrain76 I haven’t noticed that the smell transfers to me when I touch the belt. I’m not bothered with the smell. I feel like it will go away eventually. It just smells new to me

Just snagged a V1 shoprine belt for less than $275. I don't really care much about the ion being a little smaller in the word champion and i kinda like the matte/tarnished look personally. If i really want to later I could always make it shinier but it's not necessary for my at the moment. Should be arriving next week. So glad i found it for cheaper than WWE shop who sold out last month.

Supposedly the newer supplies do not smell. But you might get one off of eBay.

Just bought it the night before WM 40 night 1 on WWEshop. Best 350 dollars ever spent probably. It’s beautiful. No Ion font problem, no smell. The fake leather is actually pretty good on the end

Wanted to thank Hector for the video and everyone’s feed back. I sent back my belt this morning. I will try again in a few months but I can’t have a belt that costs $353 and smelling up the room. Some people say there belt smells, some say their belt doesn’t smell. If anyone has a v2, please comment if your belt smells or not.

@@andrewc693 Sorry yours smells. WWE Shop gave me great customer service if you want to return it. I called and the woman sent the warehouse a trouble ticket, refunded the shipping and sent me the return label for the post office.

My belt did smell when I got it, but I left it outside for a bit to air out and I did notice it did not smell as bad. I can actually keep it in my room now and don't notice a smell anymore.

Yes mine smelt so strong I felt dizzy, headache and my lungs felt like they were on fire. I too returned it and even my work room where it sat for two days had to be aired out. Just sitting in the room where it was gave me the same issues. Definitely something toxic, not just a bit on the cheap. I've got a good ten belts and they've never smelt like this. I'd be curious to know what WWE shop said to you about the smell. They just said we strive to bring our customers the best product.... But ducked the whole toxic smell issue.

I will be getting the Version 2 just because of it’s uniform. But, I will be keeping my Version 1. I just love the wwe shop Crumrine big gold belt so much ❤.

Can you compare this new one to the WCW? I ordered the WCW because of the black strap, and I thought this one was the WWE labeled one.

I just ordered one from wwe shop Apr. 5, and I bought some "Never Dull", but now seeing that it has been upgraded I might not need it, I just hope it dosent stink :)

Its an upgrade, but honestly id want the V1 and add my own clear coat. and the more I see these, the more id pay more for a Groovy G which is CRISP!!

Groovy G is a real belt, not a replica. And it's thousands of dollars.

The v2 letters may be less authentic but the v1 wasn't perfect either Heavyweight was too big Wrestling & champion are too squished ION too small of course Only the World looks right Also the newer v2 straps no longer has that bad chemical smell So it comes down to what you prefer, a belt with small straight teeth vs a belt with large crooked teeth

Hello friend, do you recommend buying the commemorative big gold? It's a little expensive to bring them to Guatemala, so I don't want to spend a lot on it, I just want to show off in my room!

I put dryer sheets in the bag zipped it up and left the belt in the garage for 2 weeks the smell finally went away

I'm curious about this too. I am tempted to order this (V3?), just need to know whether they fixed the horrible smell issue or not. A floppier strap wouldn't hurt either.

@@birbsandsportsI ended up buying a V1 off eBay for like $270 before Thanksgiving. I didn't care too much about the slightly smaller font in the ion of champion and don't mind the matte finish. I can always polish it later if I feel like it but I'm enjoying it so far.

I just ordered it a few days ago, but it won't be arriving for a while (I got standard shipping, largely because I also ordered a replacement strap and I want to make sure that they arrive at about the same time.) I'm kind of hoping that they made the letters taller like on the V1 version since it was more accurate to the real Crumrine, but if not, it'll just be a minor flaw on an otherwise excellent replica.

To many mistakes on version one lettering. The letter "E" on WRESTLING is wider then the "E" on HEAVYWEIGHT. WRESTLING sits lower than CHAMPION (misaligned) and "ION" is slightly smaller than the rest of the lettering. Version two lettering is a bit smaller (same size as the "ION") but all the mistakes are corrected.

The belt is back on WWE Shop, as of yesterday 11/28/23. Although I don't know if they fixed the smell issue. If anyone knows or gets this NEW version (V3??), can you please let us know if it smells or not, or if they fixed it?

The strap. The belt bag smelled pretty bad too. But you can throw it in the washer (the belt bag) and put it on gentle or permanent press.
