After 3 years, I've realised that Saiko is like a mix of all of the DDLC girls. She's got the hidden depression of Sayori, the tsundere behavior of Natsuki, the clingyness of Monika and the psychotic and obsessive behavior of Yuri.

Started with the Lawsuit Arc and recently finished catching up, so I decided to go back and watch some older episodes. It's so surreal seeing just how different some characters were when they first showed up.

5:08 Toad really was a homie right there. Which is pretty rare. Bob was 50/50 neutral.

Finally, after 2 freaking years, I finally know where they got the voice clips for Saiko! I was replaying Hyrule Warriors casually to get ready for the Breath of the Wild one, and I noticed that Lana’s voice clips sounded weirdly familiar. Then it hit me that they’re some of the lines used for Saiko (I figured it out after hearing that familiar “Seno!” that you’ve probably heard if you’ve seen like two minutes of any video with Saiko in it) EDIT: I just noticed some of Cia’s voice clips too, but I don’t think they’re used outside this video.

There were so many references to DDLC. When Boopkins says "You'll always be my friend" is identical to what MC says to Sayori when you friendzone her "You'll always be my dearest friend." She was self-aware that she was in a game and wanted to get out to be with Boopkins, just like Monika. She says something about how she's glad Boopkins wanted to be with *Just* her, I think a reference to the song 'Just Monika' and just the overall phrase. She was sad that she was never chosen by anyone in her game so she was always lonely, similar to how Monika was never chosen due to her not having a route so she was lonely with 'friends without free will.' At 2:46, she made a pose Monika makes where she puts her hands behind her back and kind of leans towards the left This gave a lot of references to the game and the characters which is a huge oversight to most stuff like this. 3:54, she becomes...insane? Jealous? Whatever it is, she doesn't like it and forcefully remove him from it by taking the remote and changing it to teletubbies, similar to how Act 2 Yuri pulls you away from Natsuki if you attempt to go down her route. At 6:17, you can find Yuri among the body pillows. Ah, Boopkins is also a Yurian The edits are me adding more references I noticed from DDLC, or just comments that got me to add more
