Seeing Meggy being her own self again was very Nostalgic, and took me back to simpler and better times. Unfortunately it's temporary.

I love how SMG4's new model is supposed to make him resemble an obscure Nintendo character, but he ironically looks more like the real life SMG4.

I like how even after the IP change contract wears off, meggy instinctively manages to find something to surf on like an ink boi from the movie, despite being able to turn into a squid while she was inkling under the contract (which props that she knows how to do that off the bat instead of needing to adjust again after being human for several years (she has grown more skilled since when she first turned human). I also like how each If Mario was in Splatoon video is significant to the channel and smg4 universe; the first one introduced meggy which led to all these character arcs, the second one introduced desti who would be significant in the anime arc and meggys character growth (and becoming human in general), and the third one here is significant for meggy being inkling again for the first time since, for real; (not counting references and flashbacks such as the youtube arc, her photos from meggy moves in, her visions from the meggy movie and the montage of one shot wren from the Mario babies episode). Plus the whole video is basically a set up for SMG4 to be redesigned, yet its subtle due to him reverting to mario clone for a while after. I remember after the anime arc luke said he want3ed top redesign smg4 just like he did with meggy, and wasn't sure how he would make it work, and this video shows it was worthwhile in the end. I actually expected him to change design last year after the genesis arc due to it exploring his origins and cosmology connections, and changing name slightly from Super Mario Glitchy 4 to Super Meme Guardian 4 in line with SMG1 and 2, but this arc with copyright concepts fits it very well.

I can not express how amazing it was to see Inkling Meggy back, even if it was for a short time. Plus those expressions and animations on her were just *chef’s kiss*

I have a feeling the next episode would probably deal with a trial. And that trial will determine the future of SMG4’s career. It’ll be awesome to see lawyer Meggy return.

Seeing Inkling-Meggy glomp Mario at the start is so sweet… she really does love him… like a big brother (her words, not mine) and their interpersonal chemistry especially while fighting together is fantastic ! How great is it that Chris Pratt badly imitating Charles Martinet was the thing that finally broke Mario's brain? 🤣 That fight against the Inkopolis police was so well-done… even for SMG4, Glitch keeps pushing the envelope

Little did we know that the so-called IP change was going to be the second redesign

Honestly it was really nice that we after a while we got to see SMG4 and Meggy’s original designs return. Despite it only being temporary that was still really cool they brought that back it really does remind me of the golden era a lot.

Who's Here After Watching WOTFI 2022? To Find Out That SMG4's New Form Is In Fact Stanley?

This episode is my favorite from this arc, So cinematic and Energetic with a lot of Action and funny moments at the same time!

I did enjoy a return of Meggy’s old design, (almost wish the contact was permanent) but even if it was only temporary, it was cool! I hope we get more throwbacks like that in the future.

Seeing Meggy as an inkling again feels nostalgic. I've been apart of the community since around 2012 and it's good to see that it's been nonstop laughs the whole way through :)

You can tell SMG4 and his team have come a long way in animations. Meggy's animations were just amazing to watch, sure her inkling form was only temporary, but it was nice seeing it. Perhaps she can be given the ability to change back and fourth

Glad to see the old Meggy back and I like the new SMG4 design!! Bringing back nostalgia is now making SMG4 better like 2017 after a bit of lack filler from 2018 to the first half of 2022! It is still unfortunate that her inkling form is temporary. Nonetheless, this video was fantastic for the Lawsuit arc!

This is worthy of SMG4. If we see how the rest of the gang is coming back together, that would be awesome. And if a WOTFI is in place for a finale here, it is worth this arc and who knows? The future episodes might have callbacks to previous videos and what each one is fun to see and try to point out in the WOTFI. I'm already excited because only SMG4 would know what was next for a clever story.

First, Meta Runner was the great series from GLITCH Productions and it all start from one of Luke and Kevin’s little sister’s drawings! Second, those who are true SMG4 fans, have already know that “If Mario was in… Splatoon 3” would be out today, since Splatoon 3 was released yesterday.

Watching this made me realize something. When Meggy become human, she grew much more mature. Back then to even now as an Inkling. She's about as childish & wacky as Mario. I hope there's a middle ground with both forms, so we see more of these sides in play.

Is it weird that I predicted SMG4 would be disguised as Stanley from Donkey Kong? They both share similar clothing designs and he flat-out said it himself in one of his videos. Honestly, I'm glad to see how this arc is progressing, as it's certainly a bigger threat than "Satan himself" or "An Overly Obsessed Otaku." Not to say those arcs were bad, in fact I see myself rewatching those arcs for the nostalgia.

She was originally supposed to be a one shot character in If Mario was in... Splatoon back in 5 years ago, because of her popularity among fans, then SMG4 decided to make her as a part of the series character. *THATS HOW WE GOT HERE*

I completely forgot Splatoon 3 dropped, which then makes the previous episode the perfect transition towards this crossover…yeah I guess I missed that but I did like seeing SMG4 Human design and Meggy’s inkling form is a blast from the past. Also these animations were crisp!✨

Ok yeah the video is stupidly epic, but the fact SMG4 also adds the fact Mario games take a decade to release is a very good detail itself

I wouldn't mind if SMG4's temporary appearance in this episode became his permanent one. The original design is classic, but this new 3D model has a lot more personality, and I think would help make the character stand out more.
