I gotta say, I keep coming back to listen, and I always get emotional near the end lowkey. The part starting from about 6:25 to the end has got to be my favorite part. The melody, the strings, the layering of the choir’s different parts. Gets me so hyped. Wish I knew for certain what the lyrics are. Sounds beautiful.

Yeah okay I hated this song and thought it sounded so corny during the game. But turns out it's actually really really good once I heard it in the credits in its entirety. it was way too lively and over-the-top for the scenes it was used it. But holy shit when you read the lyrics and just let yourself listen to it for what it is, it suddenly becomes one of the best themes in FFXIV history I think. I especially like that Tomorrow and Tomorrow reference at the very end

The vocals sound crazy to me, I don't want to be shady but I'm not gonna lie, I like the big gospel chorus toward the end, that part sounds great but the verses sound so weird.

Insane that people don’t like this song. Not as emotional as Flow or Tomorrow and Tomorrow or Dragonsong, but it’s very fitting for the expansion.

This song is a celebration of our deeds, our companions, and the unity of the star. That's why it's uplifting like this, and I'm all for it!

Of course it's different from everything that's come before. We've seen ourselves through the night. The dark, somber tones have passed. As a great Scion once said: From tragedy and sacrifice we rise to greet a new dawn.

I am one of few who did not like this song. Or this particular version. The female vocals feel all over the place in tone and pitch and I over all just had a hard time enjoying it. I think a lot had to do with a lot of the words being held out in some spots to be longer than they usually would be and the pitch and volume changing mid word-- it felt odd with the background music still going onward without the lyrics. The song is very much still good and I really like the lyrics and the choir parts were great, but not my favourite version of this overall theme.

I don't care what people say. Dawntrail is a good expansion, to this day it's still the only MMORPG that managed to keep my full attention for 13 years, i loved every second of it and i hope that Square Enix won't stop it juste because many people cried that they wanted another Endwalker level story directly after. Ideas like this are the exact reason why World of Warcraft became the dumpster of MMO's while it was the biggest of them all at the start.

There's something a bit akward about the vocals for me, the lyrics seem a little complicated for the time allowed to say them (too many syllables) and it ends up feeling like everyone is in a bit of a hurry and is cramming them in there to fit the melody, ending abrubtly too. Like some fanmade translated covers of japanese songs do. Not trying to be a hater or anything, just my feelings on it.

Has a theatre/concert chorus vibe. Love it for this

i imagine the main vocals mostly as explaining the feelings of Wuk Lamat and Sphene, and the backup vocals as the WoL, Scions, and the people of Tural voicing their support. the lyrics are very deep, the song is a representation of the soul of this new story with many voices and clapping hands joining the chorus. and once again the leit motif slaps! i agree with the Disney vibe, but in a good way! when this plays, it reminds me of how i felt seeing the joyous resolution moments from Moana, Frozen, or Encanto, all of which i unironically enjoyed very much. Lamaty'i is unofficially the coolest Disney princess, and i love it! and people who hate this story are probably just cutscene skipping so they can go ERP or whatever. not everyone plays for the story, i suppose.

I want people to understand. This is ESSENTIALLY, ARR. the story ended after endwalker and now were onto another 10 year arc. And this is the beginning of it. There has to he setup and new character intorductions for the future. The first half was boring sure, but the 2nd half was great!

I fucking hate DT so far (just finished 99 trial), but I honestly dont mind this song. Dragonsong, it is not. But its pretty catchy and has the vibe of "togetherness" that I think the story is trying to go for. Of all the things prople complain about with DT, this song isnt one that I understand.

What a great expansion. People not liking is understandable because it is different from the other expansions. But the story being bad is ABSOLUTELY DEAD WRONG!!! First half was cozy and Wuk Lamat was forced to be padded out over time. But that second half was done so much better for every single character. Love this song too! Threw me off for a second when i heard it the first time but I still very much like it! I hope future expansions learn from dawntrail's mistakes and improves even more! Cheers to a fun expansion :D

I see a few comments saying its gospel/Christian music. Just because its choir doesnt automatically make it gospel i promise you. It reminds me more of a play/performance or a song that celebrates all cultures.[mind you i dont know what all the lyrics are saying] it gives me a "around the world" vibe. I do agree in some moments it felt a bit overwhelming/out of place but its a beautiful song. And it's the start of a new era/ark so ofc some things are gonna be a little wonky/feel a bit weak.

Great song but it didn't go well with the tone of the end scenes. Erenville was narrating sad moments and this happy music is going on.

I really love the composition of this song, I think it is fitting, I just think the choice of vocalist and the way vocals of the choir are mixed to be very very questionable.

"Why is it not another somber sad melody like previous expansions!?" Imagine missing the point of the expansion this badly. But hey, if it's not your type of music, thats fine. Just don't go immediatly calling "shit" just cause it's a genre you disagree. I personally love it. Feels like something right at the end of a broadway musical. Such a bold way to open a brand new saga rather than the same old. Dawntrail has its flaws for sure, but the fact people keep comparing it to ShB EW who had tons of previous buildup while this is starting fresh so it doesn't have that luxury. If this is what a "ARR 2.0" is, I can't wit for later expansions when stuff can be build even further.

As they "physically", aetherically leave the world I think its sweet if its from them as they fade away, or even as "live on" in our hearts, like the game was saying. The main singer reminds me of Cahciua which is what made me think of it

I would understand why people did not like it as i have my critique on this too. Tho even if it seemed rushed or not fitting for the vocalist, i think its a good song for this expansion but probably a slower tempo and probably more mellowed out as you wanna feel that agony of losing and moving forward. But also this isn't Heavensward. We're not in the spotlight. Its Wuk Lamat's so how it was sung was fitting to her personality and i understand that and the use of chorus (that felt like Tural echoing with her) However people saying they hate it or cringe without sharing constructive criticism about is much more cringe. The only problem with this song is they never earn it during the MSQ. If you apply this song to any multiplayer achievement, like seeing a hunt train flying through a zone, it works. Imagine if this started playing when the world first raiders beat the final boss. (Particularly the chorus)

The problem I have with this song is the illegibility of the vocal and how rushed the vocal itself is. If they had slowed the tempo of the vocal, and cleaned up the vocals legibility the song would resonate significantly better. The song itself though it beautiful, especially the reprise.

The song has grown on me, but its use of it in the MSQ had a very "Disney channel Original Movie" vibe to it. I got what it was going for, but it was the only song that didn't land for me from the game so far. Tho as I said Its grown on me on its own, and even when it played at the end during the credits it felt more fitting.
