A really nice detail I love is that Rotten doesn't react to life threatening situations before Pim tells him about death. When Mr. Boss points a gun at him he doesn't even remotely react, and when Pim and Rotten are sledding down a rocky mountain and Pim begins to panic Rotten is still smiling and having fun.
If I had a nickel for every time Dana Snyder played a being that contemplates life and death I’d have two nickels which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice right?

Charlie: Yeah I'll admit I did not predict him eating that cruiseliner. Probably shouldn't have kept him crammed in that freezer for half a year, like why wouldn't he wanna kill after that? I like how at no point nobody stopped to think that the snowman is a collection of frozen water and turning into a liquid state might not actually "kill" him. Like how many of his water molecules are actually bonded to the gestalt being, and how much is just inanimate snow on the ground? Can he absorb more water to become immortal? Or is his animation tied directly to the idea of what "we" consider alive? And it depends on what you call "life". is it the act of moving? are rocks alive? is it perception? there are plenty of things alive but no perceiving anything... Is it the things that happen to you? Furthermore the concept of living forever being "bad" is just for people who lack imagination and patience. You have all the time to accomplish your goals and freed from any restraints. The only thing that can be done is stall you. If anything we are all just matter that we stole from somebody else and tricked into thinking we are ourselves. By that line of thought we are all able to "live" forever. The only thing we lose is memories.
I've watched so many videos centered around Rotten since the episode came out and no one has ever pointed out how the song they're skating too is literally last christmas but with incoherent lyrics lol
