He's likely a general associate. His job is usually whatever he's assigned to that day, and if he's done with that job, he often waits until the next assignment. Him chilling out most of the time is prolly just us catching him during break.
I personally love the joke theories that Glem is either: A) Manager, for obvious reasons B) he's been hired for employees moral or make the public more likely to go to Smiling Friends.
@julekambrozik4303 I can absolutely see Charlie hearing a new employee is getting hired and just assume whoever showed up is the new hire. Even if the name/photo on file wasn't Glem he'd accept it.
Tbh had that question after the mr frog episode. Same with Allen but he does some occasional work and s2 showed him joining Pim. But he doesn’t care about the client
@@Salza02 Alan seems like he mostly just keeps the office tidy (hence him setting mousetraps, cleaning the dishes, washing the floors, etc.) The only time Glep is ever seen working afaik is when he's cleaning the blood of the bliblies that Desmond killed.
Zach personally told me that glep is the muscle. Zach broke into my house at night and came into my room. He whispered into my ear as I was paralysed with fear in my bed “don’t fuck with glep dude, he will mess you the frick up bro!”
Personally I think hes their social media person, in the christmas special he's all old and can speak perfect english, but he's currently really small. That means he's likely the youngest of the smiling friends crew imo.

I love Glep so much. He’s just a little guy. There’s one clip in the Brazil episode where the smiling friends were having a back and forth and everybody just looked over and listened carefully to his important knowledge. (It’s actually right here 10:57)
I would deadass not be surprised if Glep ends up pulling a Thomas thing from regular show. It’s something the smiling friends directors would 100% do for an episode.
Tbh I always just figured Alan and glep were their own team and that we just don’t see it and that Alan’s extra things he does is just because he has ocd

My headcanon is that Glep used to be part of the Enchanted Forest because he kinda resembles those little dudes wearing wizard hats scurrying in the background and foreground. I also like to imagine that he just got bored of all the magic crap and ditched it. Then one day, Mr. Boss found him and offered him a job, and he's been working at Smiling Friends HQ ever since.
I think charlie and pim go on the main smiling friend missions,alan is a janitor and a organizer and makes sure everything is generally in check,and glep is the social media person who advertises the company and such,and mr boss is the main guy behind everything,smormu would probably be charlie and pims supervisor but he just doesnt show up so he doesnt rlly count.
I think an office manager would be a better title for Alan, he does seem to do a lot more than just a manager would though. I'd take that to it being a small business
i hope they have a glep centric episode where they show him doing some crazy shit out of the office that gets him gassed by the time he comes back, so that’s why he’s always lazing around. it would be funny as hell for him to come back after vanquishing smeglor of zigblorf and just sleep while no one else gives a shit about his crazy adventure.

Seeing Gelp clean makes me think he's either the janitor/custodian or a general assistant whose role is they fill in roles as needed. My guess we see him sleeping as he's the one who closes the building at night, so he gets his sleep in where he can.

I think Glep is that "locker room camaraderie" guy. He's not the best hitter or fielder, but he's the guy in the clubhouse that you can always count on for a laugh and a good time.
