The day is important historically as 50 years ago on this day, emergency was declared. Democratic norms were trampled, and opposition members were put in jail. Others like doctors and lawyers who questioned even simple issues were put in jail. It was the darkest period of the nation and should never be forgotten. Every anniversary the people need to be reminded since a large number of people were not even born then.

I remember how Nupur Sharma was left alone when everyone ganged up on her like a bunch of hyenas, whether its police, media, politicians, court or millions of PEACEFULS. the maulana who insulted bhagwan shiv first was not charged by anyone but nupurs life was at stake because she replied him with whats written on their book, what zakir naik and all malvi maulanas openly says. You need to put a timer on the screen and allow to speak only for specified duration and mute others . @To Opposition & all those who did not vote for the ruling party Please pay cognisance: If you think NDA is not going to last 5years, should be good. New election will make NDA showcase massive achievements despite strongest opposition (+ social media, foreign players) in the parliament. I question: What did BJP gain after astounding results of 10 years? they failed themselves to get majority in 2024. BJP failed to gauge intellect level of it's citizens & how foreign funding and interventions superceded. So why be an over achiever when glib talkers and poor achievers win elections? Probably the voters of 2024 love mediocrity. Losing in 2024 should act as the leap before stability.
