NGL, I can't wait to see the final product as they continue to refine the visuals into release. I love the color change for Kukulkan's tornados, I think it really gives it a more god like look to it, but it does look a little rough animation wise.
@@dylankai21 yes, the old one felt rewarding to play as (was an amazing trapper/zoner/anti-gank) as it felt to play against, I mean killing a good old persephone was like a mini boss fight sometimes lmao
Zeus shield felt amazing. It gave him better options for wave clear and offered a more dynamic way to use the character, I personally don't agree with the change because now he's just back to being a one trick it seems.
The game look the same with more trees…what is the point of having to rebuy every God if you changes nothing ? Even Overwatch didn’t make me rebuy Mercy and all previous heroes
sad about kukulkans vfx, the wind looked good this feels wayy to stylized and idk abt anyone else but I've never rly had a problem seeing his huge ass tornadoes that stuff ain't close to invisible lmaooo
I can’t figure out how to stop the stuttering it may just be my pc but everything turned to low and just hard to play ;( so sad I should’ve bought on Xbox s and stuck a keyboard to it. Now I have it on pc and it’s unplayable :(
Zeus has his aegis shield, which he can throw with one of his abilities. Hitting the shield with a basic attack inflicts damage to all units near the shield
In lore he has a shield, his original design his shield was a stim that gave speed and shielding, his rework let him throw it and bounce basics or chain lighting off it. Smite 2 it’s a aoe stim letting us to have crit attack speed Zeus
I’m excited but I prefer the old Zeus, and the Neith weave is gonna be so broken😭 other than that, everything looks great and I appreciate their hard work
Pred needs more characters. There's not enough to keep me playing. Maybe when they add my girls Aurora and yin you'll catch me playing. But for now smite 😌
@@sr.3161Yes and no, chat. That and also most popular skins for each God will return in the future. So if you have a skin you like but the majority of the ppl don’t like it. It’s probably not coming back
I am actually amazed by how underwhelming this looks. It's an overhaul of some heroes at best marketing this as a new game is really bold ngl. But that's just my opinion🤷♂️
Bro what. I mean there are only 13 of the 130 gods. I Respect the opinion my guy. Watch the streams to see what's been changed and play if you haven't. Then look at smite 1 and 2 side by side it looks insanely better to me. This is the first look and first alpha, give it some time. The reason I quite playing smite is cause it looked so bad. I don't know I loved playing the alpha shit was exciting as hell. But to each his own.
@@malthael1312 Dude... calling this a major upgrade in visuals is a joke right? 😀 I personally see 0 difference. Not to mention that Kukus Tornado looks somehow worse now. And they cut down their God's by a WHOOPING 90%?!? I thought smite 2 had about 60 gods... Wow.
@@vadu4166 If you think that they will add major changes in two months then you don't understand how game developing works. You can like and play the game? I don't care. I just think for calling it Smite 2 it's very lacking. It's more like Smite 1.3
@@vadu4166 Theyre releasing it in July? That actually changes my opinion then. I was chill cuz I was like "oh this is just a super early alpha, they're gonna work on it for some years before release" but THIS is definitely not a complete game lmao. Not fit for release. They can release it as an alpha while they work on it I suppose but I will stick to Smite 1 until I see substantial additions.
@@winterbelle708Basically, the shield is too strong, so in smite one they have to balance it by making the 1 and 3 shit, now since the 2 is less strong, you get his old 1 and 3 back (3 now stuns and won't remove the charged stack), the new 2 also offers a different style for Zeus which at least means he can do 2 roles now, instead of 1.
I feel like his old version was more annoying because he was all damage, now he has a CC that gives the character a bit of depth, but allows him to easily ult someone... In my opinion as a non Zeus enjoyer he looks less unique, I don't know why didn't they completely rework his kit. I guess they wanted him to keep being simple and easy to play, but at the same time they removed his through wall poke and he still has no movement ability or CC immunity. He's quite strong in his current version, but if they buff other mages or add more complex gods with more range... he will be the usual zeus that needs to be broken in the damage department to be good. That's my view
Bro since when is kuku she? His has always been a he, even in his mythos it's a he, unless you're talking about the Lacandon Maya version which is a evil she.
I feel like this whole system of every god being able to scale efficiently with both intelligence and strength, having both magical and physical damage is not good for the game overall. I agree there should be more freedom in terms of how you build your god, but that's a bit too much and will 100% cause big problems with balance.
HAve you already played Smite 2 ? They nerfed power (intelligence) for magical heroes so much. In Smite 1 on full damage Ymir i easily "One cast-gone" enemies - in Smite 2 with 6 intelegence items it is not even close. Basic attacks do not scale from intellegence, you should build separate items with strength. I tires to play full power Ymir mutiple games and there was just no damage. However, crit Ymir works - yes
I disagree bc the way they scale it, its not like all your ability will get benefit from both, since they seperated it, also should note, intelligence doesnt mean magical damage, it just scale intelligence based skills, so neith will still do full physical even if she going full int build.
@@lloydlim1055 i know, that itnelligence is not magical power, but skills take damage from amount of intelligence and it is reduced greatly, compared to Smite. I compared full power/intelligence builds on Ymir in Smite and Smite 2 and it is such big damage reduction both in skills damage and also basic attack (in Smite basic attack benefits from amount of power you have) - damage lost is big. However, crit build on Ymir works, but it does not look like flexibility Hi-Rez spoke about, it is more, that there are no other options
