In this guide series I take a look at each god’s respective abilities and describe how they function and what situations they are best used in. I also go over builds, relic choices, ability leveling, and combos with each God. The guides are typically made for new/returning players but I don't shy away from more technical ideas/mechanics, so who knows, you might learn a thing or two!
For builds the first build I put is the one I personally rely on/recommend, then, any other builds are sourced from high level players, usually referenced against builds from prosmitebuilds.com, which gathers builds from high level players in ranked and pro play.

Okay SO basically everything for this video was done before the patch notes of 10.3 so... yeah. Unfortunate. Basically the only things i'd change given what we know from the patch notes is: She is not BAD anymore, and her kiss does damage, especially helpful with those on hit items like Soul Reaver! I still think Hel and Chang'e, especially considering the changes coming to those characters in 10.3, are going to be better than her, so, i still feel safe uploading this even though some minor things changed about the character. The whole of SMITE changes with 10.3 obviously but despite the scope of the changes i don't feel like it messed with the video too badly. Hope you guys enjoy! All the changes to Aphro in 10.3 are as follows: KISS This ability now deals 40/60/80/100/120 (+25% of your Magical Power) damage to enemy gods Aphrodite now shares 50% of her MP5 and 20% of her Physical and Magical Protections with her soul mate, instead of sharing a portion of her Mana Regeneration LOVE BIRDS Decreased Heal per tick from 10/17/24/31/38 (+10% of your Magical Power) to 9/12/15/18/21 + 2 per level This ability now provides a flat 0.25s ability Cooldown reduction per tick to self and allies - Including on this ability UNDYING LOVE Using this ability provides self and ally the Jealousy effect for 5s Refresh not stack Using this ability now provides 5s of the Jealousy Buff to Aphrodite and her Soul mate, Increasing their damage dealt by 8/11/14/17/20%

Once the patch hits, how do you feel about swapping Chronos Pendant for something like "breastplate of Regrowth?" That would make her self peel and ability to stick to kissed allies even more hilarious when she suddenly becomes a Nascar. Great Video as always, cheers!

@@kingtickeler Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked the vid! Breastplate of Regrowth is awesome on her, honestly i'd go it over Lotus Crown in the builds i showed for sure, i think i just forgot about it when i made the builds. Over Chronos pendant though is tough since it's such a great item for her, although the new healing item(s) for mages might trump it! Especially considering you're going to NEED the buffed Rod of Tahuti, and Aschleupius (im not gonna spellcheck that) might be a good replacement since it grants CDR too with all the other healing boosts. Either way im excited to see where the builds go, just crossing my fingers they aren't horribly op!

@@Shenmoki I agree wholeheartedly and also can't wait to see how she and the other mages end up with the new items and changes. Thanks for the feedback as always. Hopefully you'll do an updated Hel Video with all these new items since she's basically been reworked. Cheers!
