@@therobotFrom94 He was friends with August Derleth, and Derleth did turn Cthulhu into basically a videogame character in his writing. He also used characters made by other writers himself, so, in short, he wouldn't mind.

I get what you mean but Cthulhu really is one of the more... describable old ones. I can't really imagine what else from the Great Old Ones they could feasibly add to the pantheon, considering the rest of them are either way too powerful or just indescribable in their own right.

Nope smite is only allowing cthulu they refuse to put in any more of h.p. lovecraft's creations. Reason they do not like how he was ((racist)) I guess they did. Not read the documentary on h.p.lovecraft he was not racist but he was highly xenophobic due to the events of his childhood and young adult life

One of his abilities could be called, "Waves of the Faithful" where his allies trust in him and while walking on the water he places, they heal rapidly like they would in the fountain, however they would be silenced. Enemies would lose faith the longer they stay in the waves and be slowed down in the waves, they would take very minimal damage (at the beginning but as they stayed in the waves, the damage would increase) while also being silenced but the ability would have to have a three minute cooldown at least 🤔

That’s way more fitting for the outer god Yog Sothoth who just looks like a flying pile of spaghetti and meatballs.

Nyarlathotep, Azathoth, Shub, and Yog-Sothoth aren’t Great Old Ones, they’re outer gods and frankly are way too overpowered for Smite. Hastur and Ithaqua however are Great Old Ones and would fit into this game.

Nyarlathotep is the only outer God I can see being possible because Nyarlathotep would purposely limit itself just to have fun.

Dyllan Keaton they have already stated that Cthulhu will be the only lovecraftian god.

There is someone like Nyarlathotep, who has 1000 forms, The Morrigan. Unless they change Morrigan ultimate I doubt there will be Nyarlathotep. Well, there can be Morrigan skin as Nyarlathotep.

@@1995creed No they didn't. they said they CURRENTLY have no plans for the foreseeable future to add to this pantheon. that does not outright mean they wont add more. it just means they just dont have any current plans for it. thats like asking them that polynesia and Voodoo will only have 1 god. yet we got Baba Yaga for Slavic. we will get mroe eventually, but i dont see it being anytime soon. it might not be till 2022 or 2023. too soon to say. but Cthulhu is definitely not going to be the only one in the pantheon. they prioritize interesting characters and fun kits to make over filling out pantheons. filling out a pantheon is secondary to them.
