SMITE - God Reveal - Nox, Goddess of Night 

if Sia played smite Nox would be her main

I was hoping her ult would make the map turn to night for a brief time to either give a large boost to her stats and/or abilities or her ult gives buffs to her allies, I don't think her kit is the best but it works at least

It has been said before and I will say it again... It's kinda funny that a God that is based upon punishing the uses of skills, has a Silence for a CC...

Nox has been changed a lot since 2014 and just because I have nothing better to do I will comment on what hey changed. Passive - Flame of the Night Nox's candles gather energy from all abilities she uses. For every ability Nox casts a candle is lit. For every candle lit Nox gains +3% magical power. When Nox takes damage from an enemy god one of her candles is blown out. Notes: Stacks up to 4 times for a total of 12% bonus Magical Power. (this was changed to give her a more don't get hit but hit hard playstyle rather them a spam playstyle that the newer nox would never be able to do.) 1st Ability - Shadow Lock Nox extends her shadow, rooting and crippling a single enemy god in place and dealing damage over time. Nox must channel to maintain hold on the target, but may cancel this ability early. While channeling this ability Nox suffers no directional movement penalty. Notes: It isn't affected by crowd control reduction. Nox can move around while channeling, but she'll keep facing her target for the duration. Instant cast relics can be used without interrupting it. Can deal up to 120/160/200/240/280 (+80% of your magical power) damage. Damage: 30/40/50/60/70 (+20% of your magical power) every 0.5s Duration: 2s Ability Type: Line Range: 65 Cooldown: 10 seconds Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 Mana (your bread and butter CC made to enable the rest of the kit) 2nd Ability - Siphon Darkness Nox creates a void of darkness that silences all enemies within. After a short duration, it explodes, dealing damage. Damage: 90/160/230/300/370 (100% of your magical power) Duration: 2s Ability Type: Ground Target Radius: 20 Cooldown: 13 seconds Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 Mana (this is a good CC wich has been nox newer thing but allso combos well with other cc and her own shadowlock.) 3rd Ability - Shadow Step Nox dashes forward, dealing damage to all enemies. If she hits an allied god, she leaps into their shadow, traveling with them. When Nox exits a shadow, she deals damage again in a radius around her. Nox may cancel this ability early to exit shadows. Notes: Nox can stay in an ally's shadow for up to 8s. If Nox enters an ally's shadow who then flies into the air, she will be unable to exit until they land, even after 8s. Damage: 70/110/150/190/230 (+70% of your magical power) Ability Type: Dash Range: 55 Cooldown: 15 seconds Cost: 90 mana (this one is a dodge/initiation tool that has some really interesting utility) Ultimate - Night Terror Nox unleashes a vortex of dark energy that explodes on contact with an enemy god, dealing damage to all enemies in range 20 and applying damage over time. Enemies hit are also weakened, dealing less damage for the duration. Notes: It will also explode on contact with terrain and player made walls. Deals a total of 300/375/450/525/600 (+100% of your magical power) damage. Initial Damage: 200/250/300/350/400 (+75% of your magical power) Damage: 20/25/30/35/40 (+5% of your magical power) every 1s for 5s Damage Reduction: 40% for 5s Ability Type: Line Range: 120 Cooldown: 90/85/80/75/70 seconds Cost: 100 mana (this is your teamfight KO ult that are supported with shadowlock and siphon darkness) all and all she got from...a spammy stack applying mage to a more CC heavy mage and i enjoy playing her. and I copy pasted all of this from the wiki beacuse i didnt want to get any stat or effect wrong and becuase its kinda helps with understanding what they changed period form a nonsubjetive side, rahter a more logical and cold explaination. smite.gamepedia.com/Nox

Her 1 is worse than Change's 2 or Nemesis's 3 (can't even mitigate tick dmg from gods like Anubis). Her 2 and 3 combo is just like Nuwa's 2 and 3 but no stuns and low dmg output. (Stun > Silence) Her 3 has same CD as Hebo but dmg is ridiculously low. Her ult looks great but completely useless against any hyper carries like Rama and Mercury at late game. She can't even fuckin clear minion wave at max level considering how low her ability scaling is. In conclusion, she's terrible and seriously needs to get buffed just like what they did to Cabrakan.

Can we get a horrifying or unappealing goddess? All the goddesses are uber pretty and shit, the only one that comes anywhere in the ballpark of scary is Scylla and she's a little girl with a hydra coming out of her ass. You could sort of count arachne, but no you can't because only Hi-Rez can somehow sexualize a fucking spider woman

Nox's abilities have changed a bit...

I don't understand why the passive is so mediocre. They could have done a ton of different things with it, such as give her the ability to blow out the candles with her 1, and once the last candle went out, enemies in a 30ft radius have their screen go dark, kind of like xbals ult but limited. But they came up with 1 free ability cast? That seems uninspired to me. Wish a hirez employee would see this.

her looks are amazing, specially the headress, i have a thing for headpieces that cover the eyes on female characters, but her kit...so lackluster, passive could be better, the ultimate is just so....i dont know honestly, when i saw the tooltip i was like''i just felt the need to play smite again'' but i soon became disappointed... dunno i think i expected too much

Its weird seeing old Nox because I started playing Smite just before they reworked her, from what I seen its for the best that she was reworked. Now I worry that they might change her again, abilities or appearance.

Played with her yesterday in Arena, she was pretty fun, and when not focused on a decent damage dealer, sadly I had crappy teams in all 3 games I played with her...

Could have done much better that this, i mean, the goddes of night cmon. They could have done a sickass uld that involvs turning the time of the map to nigh for a while, or make her able to stun with darkness or something. She just doesnt sound really useful in teamfights..another 1v1rustmem8 god.

Nox sounds more like she would be better as an assassin. Cloaking herself in darkness, jumping from shadow to shadow. Like why not a skill where she can teleport to champion to champion, like she goes into her shadow and comes from theirs? With in range of course, Like She jumps to an allied god, who is in battle with an enemy god, then instead of coming out of the shadow she jumps to the enemy god, comes out does damage and applies her darkness buff. I even know how the thing would work, when she enters the darkness portal thing she goes a targeting cross hair she has to aim herself, she then can see gods who are with in range regardless of if there is a wall between them. She then teleports to that god. if she teleports to an ally she can decide if she wants to leave or not. If she goes to an enemy god she automatically pops out. When on an allied god, if the god takes to much damage, or is taken out, then she is forced to pop out. If she waits to long she will automatically pop out Depending on the level she can jump up to the level to gods as she likes before the ability needs to cool down.

I love her abilities but they need some changes like for example her ulti. (4) Nox launches a magnet line if an enemy is hit nox has a 2 sec cool down to hit another god. Up to 5 gods. The enemies that are lined move slower and they screen gets darker (harder to hit and see) this would be epic. Ability number (2) need a change too i think is pretty nice, very low cool down and very low damage but a 25% slow and faster explosion would be nice.

They're meant to be Gods, and if you look at 99% of mythology they have about no clothes on and are just as "sexualized" as Hi-Rez makes them out to be.

like her ult, but i would have liked it if she went into the air like nu wa with wings of night. The wings cause a circular shadow to appear which gets rid of map, lowers vision and silences enemy's in the radius
