Gore and Taco break down drafts better than anyone else as far as I'm concerned. They both think very critically about the assets provided by each and every god at all stages of the draft. They also know the god history of like every single player in the league and how they build and play each god, especially Gore. Plus they're great at discussing how the attributes of each god benefits or detracts from the attributes of each player and their playstyle. Overall my favorite on the draft.
The issue is the Dragons have so many must bans. Like Hurri was SLAYING on Sol, Sam has won games by himself on Merc and Pele and Panda on Danza has been the best ADC all tourney. So it’s like, with probably 8 gods you don’t want to give the dragons, you can only ban 3 in the first Ps&Bs
they have so many bans and they have the best adc, supp and solo in the league and tbh i think sam is the best jung and hurri is the 2nd best mid to me so its like a god squad too hard to ban
I definitely agree. Been thinking that and to see his match ups against fine and how well he does is awesome. Fineokay is my favorite solo laner until now. But my favorite in every role is now the bolts for 100 % haddix just sinched the gold for them haha
The bolts were lowkey talking trash to jade dragons pre-game and even during mid-series matches sending out tweets! They had a massive ego thinking it was going to be an easy win, however they forget they are going against the most god-like players in every lane. Everyone in the Jade Dragons clearly illustrated how much more dominant they are and the differences in their levels compared to the Bolts! The dragons not only execute in early aggressive/massive leads starts, in addition when they all are on the same page... it's an easy early ggs! Everyone in the Dragons played out of their minds this phase and I am glad i got to see another Mercury Sam and Janus Hurriwind just a reminder why you need to ban these gods from these players! What a massive win to showcase their skills and cannot wait for World Championship SPL to begin!
kinda think if the bolt didn't lose that fire giant in the first game they could had a very high chance to end the set with 3/0 or 3/1, even if they say it didn't really affect their confidence, i think it did, cuz the first game was 80% bolt's game until it wasn't and it was downhill from there, unlucky. good sets tho
That call was totally wrong. There was nothing in that fire giant call that wasn't wrong, and they get to recognize if after the match, affecting their confidence. They should just push the lead into invades, not letting the enemy farm, ward the enemy's jungle and abuse the towers. That call was a fool's errand.
@AManHas NoName because the game was pretty close even if the bolts had a slight advantage the fg easily swayed the favor into jade dragons and they know how to push a lead not conq maps fault in bad decision making
@@killa123ftw7 I mean... The Jade Dragons just cannot be banned out. You need to ban out the Janus, you need to ban out the Sol, you need to ban out the Danza, you need to ban out the Merc and Pele, you need to ban out the Fafnir, you need to ban out the Tiamat, and Fineokay will literally play anything in the Solo lane and make it look busted. You just can't! Looking at the PB's for game 4, the Sol and Tiamat bans were flat out necessary for obvious reasons, and while you can argue against the Fenrir ban, it's just such an oppressive god that both Sam AND PBM are all too happy to play that forces so many beads and cooldowns, you're just stuck between a rock and a hard place. Honestly, it's just too hard to try and ban out the Jade Dragons, and given how good their potential as a team is, the only hope you have is praying they don't bring their A game to the set, because that's just how dominant they were in the first few weeks of the phase, and how they turned up in the last two sets of the playoffs.
@@killa123ftw7 meh, you can’t really ban out PBM. Even if they had banned Faf over Rat he would’ve looked good regardless. Dude’s literally the best support, arguably ever. 4/5 people on the Dragons *cannot* be banned out. So it’s just choose what you don’t want to play against. I do agree that they should’ve banned Janus over Fenrir but its also what they picked. Lasbra had a good game on Fenrir as well so leaving that open would leave him one of Gilga and Fenrir rather than leaving his pick so late since if he doesn’t have a good game then neither do the bolts.
The Chiron pick I believe is due to being a natural lane bully thanks to bluestone, and the cleanse he provides. This current meta is VERY CC/displacement heavy, and Chiron offers an additional way out od that ontop of beads and CC immunity. The problem is that the Jade Dragons know exactly how to shut it down: Danza, hyper aggressive jungler, and hyper aggressive support. Danza is CRAP from behind, so he isn't the most played ADC, but get a jungler like Merc or Fenrir in to get a gank or two going... Danza hust runs the lane and there is nothing Chiron can do about it.
Please put the extra length on the vids so we can't tell who wins. It's a nightmare if you miss the Twitch stream you can tell who wins after a game or two.
I don't know Spanish but I think you said "This demonstrates why jade are the best team. 1st game with 3 assassin's and they don't need the guardian at all" If so. I agree.
The “seasons” are typically broken up into 4 different “phases” and these end of phases “tournament” type deals are for seeding points for the worlds tournament at the end of the year
@@captainhundo9624 I’m not actually sure if they play for an extra prize pool for these mid season tournaments anymore or not, but I know they used to. I would have to imagine they still do. I know that worlds has a decent amount of moneys for winnings each year
No matter who the Bolts ban, the Jade Dragons always have, at least, one of the following open for their team comp: Mercury, Fenrir, Janus, Pele, and Danzaburou. The only time the Jade Dragons lost this set with them, specifically, Danzaburou and Mercury, PolarBearMike first picked Ymir when Fenrir was locked in by the Bolts, as well as Yemoja still being left opened. No matter how good Ymir has been this season, especially piloted by PBM, Ymir has no escape against Yemoja’s Ult, and has 3 abilities where he is rooted in place. Even with Beads and Magi’s Cloak, it doesn’t change the outcome of Ymir getting 100-0 in a matter of seconds, or proceeding to get CC-chained by Jing Wei, King Arthur, Yemoja, AND Fenrir. I agree with Aggro that Xing Tian would’ve worked better, or even a Cerberus, if the Dragons felt no need to ban out the Yemoja. It didn’t help either that Spectral Armor was bought by Lasbra and Haddix, as well as Haddix getting Hero’s Axe (nice to see pros are taking Hero’s Axe on Guan Yu seriously) and Lasbra having Pridwen, which negated even more damage coming from Sam’s Mercury. As for Game 4, I find it funny how Dolson said the Bolts should pull away from FG, so Mike’s Fafnir Ult can burn out, but Haddix moves up anyway, leading to the backline having to step in and peel for his escape, which got Venenu and Barracuda killed regardless. You can figure out how that ended for the Bolts. Either way, amazing set for both teams, and I can’t wait for how the Mid-season patch shakes up the meta for phase 2.
Yes he is that good with the bluestone meta after his buff. Dragons are just really good at playing around him. Barra explained it on the most recent backliners podcast.
@@pablonieto5058 discordia ult is shit af,the god in general is shit dosent matter what you build on here a tank can delete you in the late game and you wont be able to take more than 40% of its health down even when you unload your entire kit on him twise
Because the jungler is supposed to bring the early pressure and Warrior boots gives you the highest kill pressure early. Ninja boots are better for later on though.
@@JamalJay93 I mean I get both of y’all’s points but the game went 25 min+ with a fafnir guan Merlin comp (game 1) their early isn’t exactly stellar I get las is playing Erlang but is the value there at 25+ mins with items like stone cutting and exe?
@@ggarr91 power boots and stone cutting are better on erlang at all stages of the game because you're looking for huge burst off your auto cancels not just constantly autos. The goal is to 100-0 someone off auto cancels with your cc chain. On merc you can go either you get enough from eye and your stim.
Nice game , awesome match but microphone from caster hurt me so hard when they scream , it litteraly break all fun. buy a serious microphone to record voice. not something who cost 2$
They actually wouldnt have. They got 2-0d in the normal season by the Dragons and couldnt even take a 2nd game from the Bolts in Semis. Leviathans are predictable since they only play Meta Gods. Watch the Backliners Podcast and you'll hear the same from Aggro and Barra both. Leviathans are good yes, but they need to start getting pocket picks. Only playing Meta Picks means you are going to get countered. Also tbf, Bolts were winning games 1 and 2 until they made a bad call. Leviathans would be playing from behind the whole game until they lose just like the phase 1 set between Leviathans and Dragons.
So junglers are starting with blink and solo laners are starting with beads still. Game 2 you have a King Arthur and Cu Chulainn with beads. 2 gods that probably need beads less than anyone.build some ccr like a real solo laner.
Bro all Aggro does is point out what he perceives as mistakes and misplays. Well if he is so good at the game then why isn't he playing in the spl? Man, commentators are there to relay what is happening and not make random assumptions all over the place and point every every mistake a player makes
