that thanatos kill on art was very balanced, lots of room for counterplay there, surely

Hear the blink, insta ult to immune the silence - tusky body blocks the scythe if you ult and step backwards at the same time - Thanatos will die without trap needed at that level. If Thanatos beads you should have already proc'd Art 2 after ult - use the ms to run or fight into him. It's likely you die without distance first unless you crit a bunch; depends on your build.

In Smite 2 they should just remove damage types like psychical and magical because I don't think it really matters. They should combine hunter and mage into a single category called marksman. They should make a new role called healer and make more healer characters. If cupid is the worst hunter then he might as well just be a support god. Like just make Cupid a healer if he's a crappy carry. These would be the healer gods. Sylvanus,Terra,Yemoja,Guan Yu,Cupid because of course,Aphrodite,Baron Samedi,Chang'e,Hel,Olorun and Ra. If there was a healer role then everyone could die less.
