I own 3 of these. I own three because after I bought the first one, I was shocked by the accuracy of these SDVE40's. Here's the rub. If you have any proficiency in DAO revolvers, by which I mean if you've been trained to smooth stroke a trigger on a DAO gun, these pistols are gold. I own Glocks, I own 1911's, and own old Smith K frames. I like and appreciate the trigger type differences. That said, I already liked and appreciated rolling triggers. If you like them as well, stay with the trigger that came on that SDVE40 and be prepared to put holes through holes. That's my experience at least. Smooth stroke that trigger from front to back evenly and the mechanical accuracy it achieves in your hands will make you wonder why you aren't nearly as accurate with other pistol types. Now if you're partial to Glock triggers like myself already and don't do well on DOA revolvers, then get the drop in aftermarket trigger by all means. My thing is just don't cut off your thumb to spite your hand because the trigger on those SDVE40's are the cat's meow to a proficient DOA user/purveyor. Enjoy the gun!
