It's awesome that Maiden's RU-vid channel shared this video...I love that they support all their members' side projects without hesitation. True professionalism without ego.

Kotzen should be far more known than he seems to be. He is a phenomenal talent. Love his playing and singing.

When you're such a musical god that you meet up for beers, go over for a jam, and it becomes a successful rock album 🤩

Adrien, thank your wife for hooking you up with Ritchie. You guys casually get together and just happen to put out the best rock album I've heard in a long time. Hope there's more to come because whatever you guys are doing is working. 👍

Adrian, my guitar inspiration.

This collaboration was one of the best musical surprises in recent years. Adrian has always been one of my favorite players, his melodic style and beautiful licks are second to none, and Richie is an absolute monster, with rare combo of insane technical ability and fantastic feel, not to mention his voice, which has almost Cornell-type quality and range these days. Also, big kudos for Julia and Bruno, they are providing rock solid backbone to the band's sound. No one is trying to impose his presence in the overall mix, their on-stage chemistry is fantastic... I hope they treat us with more albums because they simply sound killer.

Creativity just flows out you like a water fountain!!!!

This is a fantastic record, I like every song on it. It would be a crime if they did not do a tour to support it.

Smith/Kotzen is for any classic rock fan. Bless Adrian's wife for being a Kotzen fan otherwise this duo may have never happened??

Love to hear how this album came about so organically and it shows, sounds like a true collaboration. From the seamless swapping of lead vocals and solos to the memorable melodies, the songwriting here is rich and harkens back to the classic rock I remember loving from the 70s. So far, best release of 2021.

Love this album, even after listening to it 9 times already! ;) Every song is a masterpiece, they flow very naturally, with a hell of lot guitar.

Met kotzen at NAMM when he did a meet and greet, and he came off like a diva who wanted no part of being there. Doug Pinnick from Kings X was at the same meet and greet, and was super nice, and happy to meet everyone.

Very surprised at the quality of this record. Heard the whole record once and immediately went and purchased it. This is a classic from top to bottom. Solar Fire is my favorite, but I really like the whole record and have listened to it several times now. Really didn't know Adrian could sing like he does. And both are amazing bass players as well. Richie is just an overall song writing beast. Don't believe me go and listen to his 50 for 50 "birthday" disc. Spend the money and get the Smith/Kotzen cd or record. You will not be disappointed!

This is a brilliant album. The musical chemistry is excellent. It’s great fun be part of a collaboration between two musicians. I once did one back in 2008 with my best friend who passed since then. I believe I can relate to how the development and writing process just flowed easily between the two of them to some degree. It’s amazing what can happen. Adrian and Richie are both brilliant. I’ve been a big fan of Adrian since 82. I hear some Urchin and A.S.A.P. in here which translates to I hear Adrian. Only Adrian sounds like Adrian. Brilliant. Whoever plays bass on Scar is brilliant. Great note choices. Is it Kotzen? I almost hear a Stanley Clarke essence in that bass line. Either way the entire album is great. This is by far the best rock album I’ve heard in many years. It definitely has made the year for me. Thank you guys for bringing it together. Much respect. Best regards.
