I can not express how proud I am of our boy. Everything he went through, physically and mentally and yet brings up a hundred for his team on his first test back! I couldn't help but let the river of tears flow down my face. Anyone in Australia and around the world who stayed up until early this morning, all show our love for cricket and for those who stayed up to see Smithy get a hundred just goes to show our passion for him. Don't tell me that your heart didn't drop at 6:13. I hate to see this side of Smudge and I don't like it when there always have to be a question about what happened in Cape Town. That is all in the past, it can't be changed. Whether a question is asked or not, it is not going to change what had happened. He knows he learns, he strives to be better. I am sure that there are more people like me, who love Smithy and I am sure he knows that too. I just hope that he realises that he has more supporters than haters.
Ryani F.p yes bro. I almost cried. I mean English crowd was so disrespectful not only to him but to entire Aussie team. Did you see the Hardy’s ad in the background during the game? “ the only Aussie to applaud” horrible.
without a shadow of a doubt Smith's innings will go down as one of the best in ashes history. He showed perseverance, determination and most importantly his unparallel cricket ability.
Amazing piece of talent right there, mind blown by the mindset and the toughness of this guy, absolutely a pleasure to watch him hitting boundaries all over the park
@@amitkumarsatpathi6927well that's why he got 0 trophies in IPL as well as single digits runs in two wc semis?? Best batsmen are those who perform well in difficult and important situation......so.......Congrats for having a so called best batsmen in your team😂😂
Life teach great lessons, the ban was a blessing in disguise for him. He has been an excellent player always, but the ban has him a much better person, a humble & polite man. No doubt he had an arrogant attitude before, now he has changed. Happy for him.
One of the modern greats big game player when the things get ruff on the field the great ones always prevail.glad to have you back in test cricket I will not be the one to judge you because no one is perfect let's hope Australia win with such a great innings test cricket nice again .
He paid for his sins in all sorts of ways. Then he came out and peeled off one of the great Ashes centuries - even without taking into account the extreme internal and external pressures he was wrestling with. Incredible resilience, determination and character. Redemption and then some.
He never left, Cricket did left the game. Now he is back, cricket is back as well. Cheers to Steve Smith. By the way don't forget siddle and Lyon's contributions. 😊☺😉😍
Smith is the greatest test batsman after Bradman, there's no one close. This dude has an absurd avg of 63 and he averages 108 in the 1st inning of a test, incredible & he scores in every condition whether it swings, seams or spins. His greatest 100 has to be the one in Pune where on a minefield he was a class above the rest
Legends are never hurt and he is the standing example of what makes of a Legend. Loved the way he is fighting back and this shows the character of the person and the strength of his mind and heart. You are a Champ !!!
One of d best batsman of all time and d best of this generation🥇🇦🇺1️⃣ he stands up when it really matters in knock out games and in tough test match situation
It pisses me off how everyone is comparing smith and kohli. Simple truth is smith is the best test batsman in the world and kohli is the best ODI batsman in the world.
Good luck boys. Would be good to beat the poms over there but i dont think we can do it, unfortunately. Hopefully, you know winning isnt everything in our eyes, just want you guys to have fun, play with pride, respect and everything else will fall into place.
This is what I like about Ausies, they always know how to buckle down and dig themselves out of a hole: 90 runs behind with the lost of 3 wickets before the deficit is cleared, and yet they can play themselves into a winning position at the end of day 4. Great!
