Let me start by saying I love your product. When I first used it I had poor results but had applied with a rag and it didn’t absorb well and left white spots (thankfully the website had instructions to deal with this). Subsequently I used it with my hands like in this video and the warmth of my hands and rubbing made it just absorb into the leather. I got a beautiful finish and restored very dry leather boots I bought second hand. It just glows. I think application as in this video is the way to go.
I just received one to restore my most beloved boots and can't wait to apply it. Just a question: does the balm work as waterproofer? It would be handy for leather dyed with water-based dyes (like eco-flo).
Would this product be safe for vintage thread? I’ve got an old belt that has cotton thread and I’m scared to use most products because I’ve read that most stuff on the market will rot the thread. Thanks!
Just wondering where do you get their product from, is it through their website or buy it from 3rd party seller, online retailer etc. ? Anyhow I’m a Malaysian too, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to you bro.
this shit is the balm I mean the bomb!!!🤣🤣🤣 but seriously I use this on my one star leather wallet and it keeps my wallet looking nice it has age well and love the way it shines I also use it on my saddleback wallets as well. excellent product my friend 👏 saludos de puerto rico🇵🇷👋👍
I use Otter Wax or NorVGen for waterproofing. Works gr8! This balm is more of a leather conditioner and has gr8 reviews. Think I'm gonna have to get it. :)
Hi Joseph! Great question. Leather is porous like human skin and will absorb the natural oils in topical conditioners. This may result in a slight darkening effect. We find the possibility of darkening to be minimal. In most cases leather will not darken beyond it's original shade and lightens back over time. For this reason we suggest testing our balm on a hidden patch of the garment if possible. Hope this helps! Take care!
