Bought one this week and I have run 6 mags through it. I do love it. I have been looking for a PCC. I was looking at the S&W FPC, but I really did not want a foldable rifle. This made it easy to part with my cash. The only problem I have found is that I have. a problem keeping the mags full.
FPC, PPC (interchangeable mag well), .22 Magnum (30-plus-one mag), M&P 5.7, 2.0 metal-framed and competition models, 10mm revolvers & autos, .308-base, 5.56 ARC AR-pattern rifles, loves and protects the 2ad. All in a single year. WOW! The "other guys" are making their new models in black plastic again. Go Smith.
Put 500+ rounds of 115 and 125 grain FMJ through mine and performed flawlessly, need to see how it does with hollow points. One suggestion, fix the gap between the grip and the frame.
Just got mine finally fully outfitted with a LPVO 1-6x, 2 point sling, and forend handstop... along with a few Amend 2 fun sticks... can't wait to wring it out on the range!!!😅😅😅
I have a love-hate relationship with S&W, but once in awhile they do bring a smile to my face. I'm not talking about the Response (but adding the Flexmag system was brilliant move on their part), but of their customer service. Before release their own 9mm 23rd mag, aftermarket mag extensions were the only option. I have several extension for 23rd capacity, but didn't have a suitable spring to handle a full mag (it ran all ammo, just didn't lock back due to over spring compression for a 17rd spring). Called S&W customer service, asked if they had the 23rd springs in stock (took awhile, guess they were selling like hot cakes), and I was ready to purchase them, but S&W offered to send 3 of the 9mm 23rd springs for free for being a S&W customer. Wow! How cool was that?! Thanks again S&W! Still hoping you guys do a collab with Floyd Customs or Apex Tactical for a limited run specialty gun. Or get with CZ and do a Smython?
@@jayman1338integrated folding stock, shorter overall length because the mag location is much further back (pistol handle) on the FPC. For a PCC, I’m generally more concerned with portability and conceal ability than getting the benefits of a AR manual of arms in a full size rifle. Especially for 9MM, the ballistics just don’t make sense to me to make a standard 16” rifle. SMG’s are the cool kid on the block right now, and it seems S&W doesn’t want to make one
I like the concept. I have a few questions: 1) Will a state compliant model be made available? 2) Will a mag well eventually be offered for the: S&W Shield Plus and the Sig P365 or P320?
Shoulda mentioned this before. My bad. I need .45 ACP. I have no need for anything in .355 Parabellum. I am American in CHARACTER well as nationality and am actively purging Metricrap from my use of the language. It is a foreign language pushed by anti-Americans pushing "global norms" (whatever the [Expletive Deleted ] word that is) and bent on turning us into all the places our ancestors fled from. Remember, we developed and pioneered the Assembly line and mass production. We know what real football is. We put men on the moon. The rest of the world uses Metricrap.
If this is a blow-back system why didn't you make it foldable? You have another rifle with a handgrip fed system. It seems totally redundant to make two rifles with different feed systems.
I’ve been looking for a pcc that I can run my m and p mags in. I can’t wait to get hands on it. I’m curious about ar compatibility. Can you swap out the hand guard with any ar hand guard. And can you drop a different trigger in it
@@eliarthur7088 Its not abut not gaving the $$ because i do, but why spend more than double when both will get the same job done. Its like power tools, why spend double or triple when the lower brand will do the same job.
@@ACommenterOnRU-vid Thats a personal choice. I tend to lean into the camp of buying quality over quantity (buy once....cry once). Not saying this is a bad weapon, but polymer has a finite shelf life (especially as parts heat up and cool off from shooting). Aluminum doesn't have that unless it is contaminated during the manufacturing process or suffers a catastrophic failure.
@@eliarthur7088 well not about guns but i do still have working ryobi tools from 20+ yrs ago that still work today .... Matter of fact that 7 pc power tool set my girlfriend purchased for me for xmas 20+ yrs ago, each and every one of those 7 power tools are still good today. And Ryobi is not exactly the best brand out there so ... But anyways, to each his own i guess
@eliarthur7088 I spent $1613.69 on a CMMG BANSHEE 300MKG 40s&w back October of 2021. Couldn't get through a single magazine without FTEs and double feeds. PMC BRONZE; Federal American Eagle; Federal HST; Speer lawman; Speer gold dot; etc.. And 155gr; 165gr; 170gr; 180gr in each brand. Couldn't get it to run shit. Reached out for months only to have them sell me an action tuning kit, (set of 3 different weights for the bcg) and still couldn't it to run anything consistently. Had my gunsmith try to tune it and was able to get through a magazine or 2 of 180gr Federal American Eagle & HST'S before it started doing the same thing. Found a forum of banshee owners who were having the same problem with theirs 9mm, 45, & 40s&w. Come to find out it was a issue with their ejector springs. Reached back out only to have them sell me a ejector spring & extractor kit for their newly released 10mm. This was supposed to have been their upgrades to fix a problem they didn't want to address until I mentioned that myself and several other owners realized it was the ejector spring shortening after a brief period of time. Till now it still sits in my safe & remains the only firearms purchase I regret. Just purchased the S&W FPC this past August for $579.99 ($644.53 shipped). Went to the range the day it arrived with little over 500rds of various ammo ( 115gr & 124gr & 147gr) Federal American Eagle; Federal HST; Magtech; Speer lawman & gold dot; and Igman. Not a single malfunction and all accurate as fuck. I'm a couple of USPSA matches and just shy of 2krds with it, and still not a single malfunction.
Muy buena carabina, sólo que hubiera sido quizás y sin quizás un diseño BULLPUP, en dónde se mantienen sus características principales, pero se vuelve mucho más manejable en áreas críticas, como el Hogar, la cabina del camión etc..
Now make one in 5.7x28 and use the same magazine as your 5.7 pistol! People are begging for good 5.7 rifles. Right now Ruger has the market cornered on the 5.7 pistol/ rifle combo.
799.99 for an all polymer AR9…..hard pass…. You can build a PSA for around 600 or buy something like a Brigade BM9 (aluminum upper/lower) for about 30 more.
@@rob6850 Correct, the Ruger PC weighs more than a shotgun let alone an AR. I own both, if you can get past the prejudice of the all polymer, the ease and accuracy of shooting the Response blows the Ruger out of the water, and its not close IMO. The Ruger looks/feels 'cooler', the Response is the better firearm.
What other FLEXMAG Kits will S&W offer besides M&P (Dbl-Stack) and G17/G19? Can't seem to find this information anywhere? (I doubt they'll ever offer any others)
This is kool but we need to get back to the essence! The courts need to stop the infringement by these weird ass state laws & bans! Where’s the AR PLATFORM
