Thanks for sharing🙏. The Smithsonian also has the STRI in Barro Colorado Island in Gatun Lake…the oldest and only tropical research station of its kind in the world. Philanthropist Adrienne Arsht recently donated STRI $10 million. It’s an awesome day trip tour of the research station, albeit much more pricey than Punta Culebra.

Love it. I saw somewhat that people in Bocas are encouraged to eat lion fish as a means to getting rid of it. What have you heard? Also, massive favor, could you please pan slowly? Since the butterfly video im getting dizzy. Sorry to impose. My wife too commented, so I know I'm not the only one. Also, yoi should go to the Bio museum if you haven't yet. I was shocked by the size of the giant sloth. The museum at the Canal also has an exhibit on Panama's wildlife. I remember seeing a see-through cockroach as big as my hand. 😳 Have you been to the Smithsonian in Bocas yet?

Yes, lionfish in on the menu in several Bocas restaurants. I know the camerawork is "dizzying". Two problems: 1) I'm just excited about filming and never think about it 2) My vlogging camera had been out of service for about 6 months at this point. However, I have it back now! Videos for the rest of the year are already lined up, but videos after the 1st of the year will be with the good image stabilization camera again. Plan to get to BioMuseo in the near future! No, haven't gone to the Smithsonian in Bocas yet.
