Kable10 started with SML YTPs as well, he just deleted or unlisted them now, and he was the first to do SML parodies which is cool, SML shouted him out in an old chilly vlog somewhere, saying to subscribe to him, so if he does do something it would be another here's jeffy situation lol
I saw a Jeffy doll dressed as a palace guard in some random store in London and I no joke heard a random lady say "Look, it's Jeffy!" His reach truly knows no bounds.

The crazy thing about it is that, despite the random plot, the lackluster voice acting, and all the missed opportunities, it was still a better SML Movie than the actual SML Movie that got released (Jeffy's 18th Birthday). Due to what came out about Ray Rants, though, Mafdominus is leaving the SML Community because he can't be associated with it anymore. But not without releasing the sequel to the SML Movie, SML Movie 2: Mario vs Jeffy.
@@AbsnormalCoolest It's neat, but I think there's too many burnt bridges to enjoy it properly. *He waited too long after the HOA told him that he couldn't keep the ice cream truck while it's visible, so he replaced it with an unmarked van. *Future collabs with Zeke fell through because he was too busy dealing with Lovell's drama with Gamecubedude to respond to him. *So much time had passed that the DMCA happened and all the characters were replaced with puppets. Which wouldn't ordinarily be a problem, except... *The whole draw of the movie was to bring back every character SML had ever introduced in one video. Because of the above points, not only could the old characters not be brought back, but the recurring characters were replaced with puppets. Rather than a celebration of old times, the movie became a reminder that nothing will change. Not the content of SML, or SML himself. That's why I think Maf's attempt, while messy in places, was still closer in spirit to what people wanted from the SML Movie. We got to see old characters again, and it was great seeing Bowser Jr. make amends with Chef Peepee with the context that this would be considered a permanent change going forward. An SML story, with closure, that isn't dropped because they move houses or can't find a boxing ring to borrow; it's gratifying to see.

I find it ironic that little children are able to use Nintendo plush’s in their content, but SML is not able to anymore for legal reasons. Which shows how powerful children truly are to get their own way.

I remember I was awake at like 2:00 AM once, I saw a video from Jeffy's Universe called "Jeffy's Prime" or something, and I genuinely watched the whole thing laughing in a crazed anger. I regret that night more than I regret spending an hour watching shima memes
@@haunting_hatter_ yeah, smls humour is very unique and not like any other plush channel. It's also heavily reminiscent of adult cartoons like south park and family guy so it made it feel more like it's own thing, more then just a mario parody channel.

In addition, didn't expect Logan Thirtyacre to react to the "Mario Plush Channels" video and give his thoughts on it.
I remember in my day I used to watch TONS of plush tubers because I'm acoustic and I used to watch an SML rip-off named "Super Mario Richie" (Real original I know) And their Jeffy equivalent was an annoyingly high pitched puberty voice cracked Iggy Koopa.

My buddy got offered a voice job to be jeffy for a content farm. He declined the offer and me and my other friends jokingly make fun of him for it. He would have made a ton of money too, but aint always about the money when your dignity is on the line
I think what sets the fine line between SML clone and plush channel (possibly inspired by SML) is when you have your own "original" characters added, your own jokes, video ideas and formats. If I was someone like Kabel10 or SML YTP I wouldn't change the Nintendo characters to the SML puppets because I don't have to. It just feels like I'm pandering and trying to be as much like SML at that point. Some people try to go for videos more so in their own style not even similar to SML and going for a more Mario themed channel, some people try to be like Logan, some people do a mix of both by simply being inspired. Also dw, I haven't uploaded in a month either (not a video that wasn't a short atleast)

27:10 It’s kind of weird when you think about it. Once a character gets enough hate, they either become a punching bag or are completely discarded and rarely seen again. Do people really forget that these guys are just fictional characters and most of their problems with them could be fixed if they were handled better.
