As much as some of us can be like "EWwww, Fan song. CRINGE" but every single one of us thinking that is just slightly in denial, cause some of them are really bangers.
Fun fact: I have an online friend who went to school with the red shirt fnaf kid. Apparently it wasn’t a talent show or anything it was at a boy scout meeting and he went up there unprompted and just started singing. According to my friend he’s just as dorky now as he was then.
The fact that he just thought at his Boy Scouts meeting “I should sing the FNAF 1 song by Living Tombstone” and went up on stage and just did it is way funnier then the talent show theory
i love that he's looking down the whole time. like he knows if he looks up and makes eye contact with anyone he's gonna start fucking crying or something
As a member of DAGames, we take pride in, even if it’s a shitpost song, we wanna try to go as hard as possible. Cause that makes it funnier than anything we can shit out in two minutes lol
Huh, that’s a bold move, and I love it too. Despite “You’re Mine” Being A Sh*tpost, It’s Still Hilarious And Also A Banger Too, The Animation Is Amazing As Well.
6:47 Fun fact: The 8-Bit Big Band actually won a frickin Grammy awards in the "64th annual Grammy Awards in the Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Capella category" With a band cover of "Meta Knight's Revenge (From "Kirby Superstar")" So yeah, they are talented a lot
10:04 I'm not really on TikTok but it is home to one of my favourite videos of all time where this guy admits his top song of 2017 is "You're Mine" because he disassociated for like 5 hours while it was playing and when he came to, he deleted his whole Spotify account in shame.
DAGames is one of the best simply because a lot of his fan songs usually have amazing instrumentals and lyrics, while a lot of other fan songs tend to have good instrumentals but weak lyrics.
The thing that made DAGames stand out to me is that most of the time, the lyrics aren't directly about the game, but rather the themes or feel of the games. The easiest example I can think of is their Battlefield 1 song, which you could easily just assume is a WW1 themed rock song, without it being related to a game.
@@vampirebnnuy He's definitely gotten better at it over the years, but I personally never felt it was a "dealbreaker" so to say, just "serviceable" in the worst cases
If LHUGUENY makes a parody song of Pizza Tower I'm gonna shit my lungs out laughing. Imagine what the characters would look like in his style, it must be lovecraftian.
My dog's fish is sctually friends with him and leaked the pizza tower song. It's called "The Pizza in our Towers", here are the lyrics: Pizza Oh pizza In the tower Pizza in the tower x10 I am Pepino This is friend the Nose Pizza in the tower x10 PepPerman He's up to no goode So vigilant Will stop him now Pizza in the tower x15 When the evil Pizzaman strike And fake pepino is on the rise We will make a pizzPa so good We'll save the pizza tower Pizza in the tower x60 Woah oh oh Story of Pizza Tower
Is it weird to say I’m impressed with how often this guy makes me laugh with his fucking Edgar Wright level comedic callbacks throughout every video Like it doesn’t fail every single goddamn time
13:02 I played this in front of my Parents multiple times and they never told me to stop watching it so either they didn't listen to the song or they just didn't care
Fun Fact, NateWantsToBattle is one of the only people in this video that managed to escape and decided to finally completely move on from fan songs, making his last ever one a couple months ago. Good for him honestly, he managed to make some bangers during his time and used the success he made to gain fans that will stick around when he makes songs that truly mean something to him EDIT: also, the aforementioned last fan song he ever made was branded as a fnaf song, yet one listen to the lyrics reveals that it's actually just a song that is very obviously about how he REALLY just does not care about fan songs anymore and wants to move on, it's honestly a great song
i'm glad he's moving on his original songs are so much better than his fnaf ones, especially after the what you want album. Can't wait to see what he'll become.
FNAF fan songs used to be like crack to me. I couldn't gwt enough of them. Shout outs to the Built in the 80s, Mechanical Instinct, and Bringing Us Home music videos made by TFCraft and Enforma for adding great animation to some absolute bangers.
11:50 not sure if this was intentional or not, but if it was, this has to be the most genius ad placement of all time, you get to hear one millisecond of story of undertale before the ad cuts it off. Comedy gold.
So fucking true, I was watching it and I see a single frame and I’m like, “NO! FUCK!” I had to wait for like 15 seconds to watch something cringey like that… willingly!!! 😭🙏
@@kirbystar7474 I say most of all fandom music channels are good, but I'll say Griffinilla has a weird soft spot in my heart for nostalgia reasons. and no the fan of the fan droid thingy change whatever it was
@@trixsomethingsomething2095 I get ya. Cg5 has had some really good original and game music recently especially pied piper, children of the machine, 4get, and Monday morning
DAGames is my favorite artist out of the bunch by far. His songs just feels so much more than just the games. And he's the one who first introduced me to heavy metal. AND I LOVE IT. I really wish people would check out his original songs as well like IRIS, Flashdrive, Pandorium.
@@steveglitterI remember when Draw the Line came out and was too heavy for me. Now it’s one of my favorite songs he ever made and I listen to death and black metal in my spare time
As I love comedic songs, my favorites are probably Another Date or You're Mine. Another Date gives me NSP vibes, and You're Mine, for some reason, gives me Steel Panther vibes.
@@-ASH4I- LMAO I had that experience too, except it was Why Do We Hold. Like honestly his scream at the start was like a Jumpscare to me, and now I love it.
i'm a bit sad you didn't mention the 3 big fan song guys, Stupendium, Dan Bull and JT Music, stupendium has the most consistent and high quality songs in all of youtube imo.
Fun fact Discord by Living Tombstone got so big and popular it was put in Rockband 3 as a DLC lol. The biggest one from the horse fandom was probably Lullaby for a Princess especially given the animation made for it was incredible. Lhuggeny I knew because of his COD zombies songs, some of them are such fucking guilty pleasures, my favourite being the Mob of the Dead one. It’s just comedy gold.
As a person who grew up on the internet along with these songs, you did an amazing job recapping all of it. It does feel very nice for someone to finally talk about how when I was a kid I was traumatized when I saw a bear eating a face. Anyway good video all around (:
"i think he made this out of spite" He literwlly did This entire song was done as a "fuck you" to that one part of his audience that thinks he will make whatever they request regardless of if he actually enjoys the source material or wants to make a song out of it he made this as a show that he still has full control even when he's covering the things his fans suggest its not the first time he's done this ether The last time he truely made a song about something he REALLY didnt want to do was the undertale genocide song (He did pacifist and literally every single one of the comments at the time were begging him to make a genocide song, and he felt pressured, its one of his most disliked dagames songs)
He's been doing that for a _while_ It's the main message of his Fnaf World song, 'I Will Not Be Moved' It's really respectable and it makes them some of my favorite songs
You're right on that matter, but it was actually the other way around. Will said when reacting to his old songs a while ago that he wanted to do Genocide because he felt it was underrated, but people wanted a Pacifist song instead
5:47 this is actually fcking hilarious, the sight of dawko singing in a cafe full of animatronics who are drinking alcohol and playing cards💀 just so surreal
This felt like listening to a friend ramble about a topic they're way too invested in and it's AWESOME! :D 👏👏 Also, your editing style combined with your humor is the ONLY thing in a long while that literally makes me laugh out loud. I had to actually pause the video at one point to catch my breath from laughing! :'D Your videos are a treat, super entertaining as well as informative about the topics you choose to cover. Amazing work! :) 💖
we surely did grow up in the same corner of the internet, every video i've seen from your channel has covered a important part of my childhood that i had completely forgotten about, thank you for reminding me of the existence of these gems
I think the Stupendium has probably the best music videos for their songs. They welded a train for their Choo Choo Charles song. A train. Choo Choo Charles. RU-vid song. What?
I feel like the same can be said for his batim songs, as far as im aware he animates all of those music videos by himself, which is fucking nuts imo...
21:54 oh it was even funnier in the teaser for this song. Baring the actress for Sayori, the girls were swapped to the main trio playing them. Gwen for Monika, AJ as Natsuki, and best of all: YuriNate. That crap will live rent free in my head for all eternity, like, i don’t know why
I adore how much effort Random Encounters puts into their musical videos. Some of them may seem cheesy (especially the old ones), but even those have their charms. AJ, Gwen, Nate, and the rest of the team are goated.
Fun Fact about the Baldi Song: I know the thumbnail artist, and that's her persona that is tied down, and the reason why DAGames chose her to be the thumbnail artist was because of the fact DA knew how much of a Baldi fangirl the artist was like "Hey, do you wanna get tied by Baldi"
2010s fandom RU-vid was a wild time lmao. Nowadays, so many people dismiss it as cringe, and while there was definitely some weird stuff back then, there was a ton of genuinely good content, too?? Creators like The Living Tombstone and The Stupendium didn't have to go that hard, but they did 🤯 Good shit right there. _Join us for a Bite_ was probably my favorite FNAF fan song. The balance of poking fun at this type of stuff (and in an actually funny way) and retaining respect for it is really refreshing; love to see it! This video is a masterpiece 👏
Where’s the second video just about jt music and stupendium like these two are literally masters of the genre one has been doin consistent quality raps for a decade and a half and stupendium is godlike at wordplay and videos
I'd love to hear Miracle of Sound get mention too! Though i guess Miracle of Sound is a little bit on the niche side of thing rather than Someone like The Living Tombstone or DAGames. I hope to see Aviators get a talk about too.
I've never seen any of your videos before, but this is legitimately one of the funniest videos I have ever seen on this website. You deserve way more subs man, way to go
the "hello neighbor?what a joke." got me to subscribe because i realized you have to be SUCH a specific person to even make that reference and especially in a video talking about youtube gaming songs
19:14 BUHFGUguUSHUSN AHAHAHAH I FUCKIN' GOT AN AD RIGHT WHEN SCHNEIDER POPPED IN I LITERALLY SAW HIM FOR A SPLIT SECOND AND THEN SOME FUCKING VAPORUB COMMERCIAL POPPED UP
IM SO GLAD SOMEBODY ELSE CARES ABOUT THIS Man fandom culture is so endlessly facinating and i think Random Encounters was a really really big part of what got me into fandom in the first place, thank you for making this i really enjoyed it!
Oh Random Encounters, a unique channel that I will always have a small deep down fondness for I may not be proud of how many of their songs ended up in my iTunes library nearly a decade ago, but they put so much genuine cheesy effort into them I just can’t be ashamed of it
Not much was added honestly, all you need to know is Sister location: an amalgamation of animatronics from the game are fused together into one named ennard and one of them has an important soul as it is the daughter of purple man Pizza sim: the rest of ennard among us vote out Baby which is purple man's daughter, springtrap is back again and he has a peanut head, and the puppet is trapped inside a bear animatronic called lefty. They all get burned down UCN: It's purgatory for purple man And we don't talk about the security breach/Help Wanted shit, it's stupid
@@alface935help wanted:fazbear hires scout cawton in secret to make the fnaf games has a cover for the events of the first games and then sue him, they use the new horror fame to make a VR game but someone ended up scanning a animatronic code to make the game better and ended up creating Glitch trap (a sentient virus) who mind controls a tester (Vanessa) and escapes to hijack Fazbear’s newest project Security breach:fazbear made a giant neon rock themed mall but Glitchtrap hacks the entire place and plans on rise some hell by killing more kids, using Williams corpse has a new body and make a even bigger amalgam of animatronics, however a KID ends up burning the pizza place, freeing Vanessa from Glitchtraps control and even takes Glamrock Freddy with him after destroying all the other animatronics Ruined:a friend of the kid goes to the pizza place since her friend (the kid from security breach) called for her help, she goes through the mall dodging a replica of Glitchtrap made by someone to keep the place under lockdown, the kid ends up befriending foxy’s replacement (roxy) and gets to the underground of the mall and there is the… MIMIC, basically a robot made by SOMEONE ELSE that saw the murders of the kids and like the name implies he started mimicking (purple guy in this case) he was the animatronic fazbear scanned for the game and created Glitchtrap, he was also used by Glitchtrap to create he’s new body with spring traps remains, and now he mimicked the voice of the kid to lure her friend to the mall to free him and now he’s free ready to cause some hell Help wanted 2:if I’m not wrong Vanessa totally deleted Glitchtrap once and for all Into the pit:there’s a straight up demon in the ball pit with spring Bonnie’s suit, there’s a literal monster with sharp teeth’s in the ball pit and it’s out for blood
That’s just the games. The books are a whole other story and are sorta canonical to the games. They’re not 1:1, but some events in the books are meant to be a parallel to events in the games. It gets wild.
The FNAF musical by random encounters is the greatest thing of all time. I literally (NOT JOKING) put it on when I shower from how good it is I (partially) remember the first 3/4 nights WORD FOR WORD.
Everything this man says is completely factual. Also as soon as you put on the beginning of Lhuegeny’s Undertale Genocide Musical it played an ad when it was 0.1 seconds and i knew exactly what you were gonna do next and i jumped back in fear watching my time run out as the ad ended.
I'd like to an honorable mention to JT music, they've been around since as long as the og fan song makers, but they never get brought up that often for some reason....
my brother was OBSESSED w/ fgteev but only before their rebrand as fgteev- way back in the day they were the skylander boy and girl and ONLY did skylander content
I recognised pretty much all of these channels mentioned, yet the only one I have gotten more invested in over these many years is DAGames (and maybe TLT to a lesser extent). Their nerdcore stuff remains consistently great, and IRIS (What all DAGames' original songs are published under) is literally my favourite thing in music. Like come on, you can't convince "Into the Beyond", "Biobond" or "You're Better Off" aren't some dang bangers. It's insane how much he has grown as a musician and artist. His nerdcore stuff is the most appealing to the wider youtube landscape (I mean fucking hell 170 million views on his first Bendy song? which he himself stated he made in a day just for the heck of it.) but I encourage anyone who liked his fansongs and such to check out more of his original stuff.
Dude, Will is an absolute talent personified to me. So much that I'm going to be performing Left Behind on drums in a few weeks in a live my music school makes. He deserves credit so much. I also adore IRIS songs a lot.
Man, i really appreciate what you put into this video! It's clear you're pretty passionate about fan-songs, even ones that the wider internet might call "cringe". But cringe is dead anyways. I love the humor here and i'll certainly consider checking some of your other stuff out!
I love Phone Guy/MatPat/Scott Cawthon/Evil Dirtbag With a Chainsaw so much. I love all of FNaF the Musical tbh, it's fantastic And pretty much whenever MatPat gets to be a theater kid lol
This video lives in my head so much, and it's perfect timing because just before this was uploaded I was also obsessed with fan songs!! I've watched this so many times because it's makes me laugh EVERY TIME. I know that every new video is going to make my day better 😭Okay that's it just wanted to express how happy this video makes me laugh!!
RU-vid fan songs are either amazing, horrible, or both at the same time and I love it. I really love the humor and editing style of this. This dude just sounds so real and funny. (First time watching one of his videos)
23:48 i have an explaination for this! so sparrow raine (uhh that guys wife/girlfriend??) him and her were being mistreated and so, they quit, im pretty sure they have a video on it but id have to find it
im honestly so happy someone is openly as interested in this as me like i got too giddy in this video this video got me gigging and shit (good job on the vid u little cutie patootie)
The line things can only go up followed by a fraction of a second of the story of Undertale and then an ad was the funniest thing that alone made me subscribe
