I’m amazed how you can rise above this difficult moment in your life. Just completing one room at a time can be self motivating. Doing well mate, I guess doing these videos helps with talking about it … hope you are ok. As always take care

Thanks Mic, yeah you're right you do get more motivated as you complete each task. As for the videos? correct. I do like making them and it does help with my venting lol. But it also hinders the process as they are so time consuming. I also do it because it's a good reminder of what happened in this time of my life. Like a video diary 👍

You should try and use something like Concrobium Mold Control Spray (that is what it is called in Canada). I think it has some bleach in it and it makes white things, very white again. I am not sure how it will do on fabric, but I had a water/sewage leak on a drywall ceiling, and the stains disappeared like magic.

Wow ok I'll definitely look into it for anything that won't be replaced for sure. Thanks so much! 👍

May I suggest to give stain blocker paint “Zinsser Bin (must be shellac base) “ a go, we used this on smoke damaged areas here in Perth WA very effective. Unfortunately you have to ventilate area while using it.

Nice, I just had bit of a look. And it looks good. I'm getting all of my paints and stain blockers for free from the paint sheds at various tips so will definitely grab some if (and probably when) I see it. My dad spoke to his painter mate and he did say that basically anything that was oil based is exactly the same as specialist type blockers. But I'm definitely going to add your suggestion to the list. Thanks so much 🙂
