After this years season, we're blessed with good crops, good looking cattle, loads of straw and hay, great family and friends. We piss and moan about things, (like the weather, and crappy prices..and crappy government), but it's time to Give Thanks! Happy Thanksgiving QDM!
Great looking brisket 👍👍We had a brisket too for Thanksgiving. My son in law cooked one and it was fantastic. He uses the same cooking process as you. Personally I would take brisket over turkey any day ❤
@@QuickDickMcDick Nice to see you staying in your lane. I loved your pulled deer recipe. I liked your reason for doing that vid. Some things are never done for public safety, they are done so the government can maintain a monopoly on violence. I respect your skills as a farmer. Have a good day Sir.
Quick, is beard hair considered an ingredient or a condiment ? Nice of You to bring us along on Your trip. Happy Thanksgiving and Best Wishes to You, Your Family and Friends.
Almost exactly the way I do, even the same cooler but mines red. 😂 Another way to serve up the next day is to vacuum seal it, then boil it in the bag. Doesn’t dry out that way. In fact, it’s even more moist than before because it renders the fat even more. Great Vid QDMD.👍
I smoked our turkey as I have done a few times. I’m gonna have to try a brisket. I’ll come back and watch this for a refresh when I do. One thing that I can do without, is the 5:30 AM to start the smoker. I know that pain QDM!
Looked amazing to me .last week I made some corn beef out of a bull brisket yes it was a little tuff but sliced thin it was amazing in sandwiches. Nothing better then your own beef.
I made a Montreal style Brisket few days ago - But used a different tough Roast, brisket too big for me. Made with a rub I made and aged in fridge for 10 days, then steamed to 185F and in fridge again for a day or so. Decided not to smoke it - was hungry. Tasted Great. Next time smoked though
QDM, thank you for teaching me how to cook a brisket, l always thought it would be much work, good grief. Again thank you, now l have to save enough money to buy one!
Grampa likes it? That's all that matters. Give him the slices that are much fatter. Yummy brisket for Thanksgiving dinner. Smoking that bad boy is surely a winner. You're quite the chef, Quick! There's no doubt about it. Your cooking is awesome! Just like your wit! ❤🐮❤🦃❤ Happy Thanksgiving! (Oh, hi Blueball!)
Oooh that made me hungry I’m waiting of a full beef returning from the butcher I know what I’m doing with my brisket but I ain’t sharing thanks again for a great video
Just curious what wrapping in butcher paper does. Never saw that technique before. Wouldn’t you also need a really long extension cord for the slow cooker to drive to Maple Crick? Loved the outro. Thanks for posting on a Tuesday morning.
The preparation and cooking of that brisket is as long as the process to defrost and cook a turkey. 😁 Happy Thanksgiving, QDM. What pellet grill are you using?
Looks like the maple creek facial hair convention was held at the same time lol. Was surprised you neede dishwater first thing in the morning lol. I was nearly cured of coffee by you canadians when i lived in Saskatchewan. Come out to oz and learn what coffee should taste like lol. Dont forget that starbucks failed when they tried to take over the market here because they were making dishwater and passing ot od as coffee.
Me: Asks the bank for a second mortgage to afford the brisket. Also, that wasn't a Thanksgiving gathering. I'm certain that was a meeting of the Secret Maple Creek Facial Hair Club 😄
If you can't store your smoked meat in an ancient burial ground that was once used by the Mi'kmaq, keeping it in the refrigerator at a temperature of 40°F or below should be fine.
How's she goin'? Happy Thanksgiving. I bet you cold eat off that brisket for 3 days or more. It sure looks some good, but I bet you can't make turkey soup with the leftovers and carcass from that puppy!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
I would order all the leftovers be shipped to GA but I'm sure there weren't any and with the US postal service it would be a fossil before it got here. Thx QD
