Good video. Got a couple tips you might want to try. As for the ice cube, I've got the same mold I bought off Amazon but I use distilled water, that will give you the clear ice you are looking for. Second tip is next time try smoking the glass with just the ice cube first, the oils from the smoke will adhere to the cube, THEN pour in your old fashioned.
Awesome tips. I do remember starting out my first batch with that set using distilled. I think I got lazy with it. Theres more surface area with just the cube during smoking. Thats a great idea. Thanks Andy, I really appreciate the view and comment.
I just started making and drinking whiskey. Slowly sliding away from rum for now. I got a smoker and I like smoking the glass and ice before the cocktail. We all have a our favorite ways. happy New year and thanks for sharing.
I save my ECBP's for drinking neat. Throw some Wild Turkey 101 in there. It has an orange flavor on the pallet to help if you dont have oranges for garnish.
Thanks for telling us how you feel however please keep in mind your opinions aren't true for everyone. Some people like more smoke and some like less. Some don't like any at all. Since I made this video, this is my preference, not yours. Make your own video and then tell us what the "correct" amount of smoke is. Thanks for watching.
