SMOKEY HAMHOCKS GREEN BEANS & POTATOES: MADE IN THE INSTANT POT 

I love fresh green beans too. Sometimes, instead of adding potatoes I will cut up a few white turnip bottoms into the string beans. I have even used a few yellow turnips as well. You did a nice job with yours.

My family make green beans like that . My aunt and mother would Have me set on the porch with a big bag of green beans. We would snap them . Ham hocks or bacon what ever I have with pearl onions and new potatoes. You are makeing me hungry .

Lawds, now I have to fix this tomorrow in my Cosori instapot. I think I will use rutabagas instead of potatoes or even turnip roots. I will have it with my gizzards that I will prepare first in the instapot, let them cool while I work on the greenbeans, and fry them after the gizzards are cool. Yum, yum.

This is how I prefer my green beans😋... I would substitute the hammocks for smoked turkey since I don't eat pork... Adding the potatoes 🥔 is a treat...
