I have just turned 45.. and I can still remember, when smoking was allowed everywhere. I am glad, that you can´t do that in grocery stores,busses and post offices and places like that anymore, but I miss the feeling of things just being natural, that you had a smoke after a great dinner at your favorite restaurant.. or that people can´t smoke at their office anymore. It has gone a bit hysterical, in my point of view..

Exactly. She was so classy.. THE Icon of her time!! And she was never afraid of speaking he mind! No wonder, that Madonna truly worships her AND the heritage, she left behind, culturally! Here in Denmark too, she is an icon, of course especially in the gay community.We once had a big gay cultural house here in Copenhagen, one of the bar rooms was dedicated to her, with red, plush sofas and picture of her, framed, of course! :-)
Ich frage mich gerade, ob die Dietrich bei 6.10 tatsächlich zwei Zigaretten am Start hat. Das sieht mir fast so aus. Könnte auch auch Kugelschreiber oder Füllfederhalter sein. Sieht nach derm Haltung zu urteilen aber doch sehr wie eine Zigarette aus. Wundern würde mich das nicht:-)
