@@MrKatfishHimself I called fast and slo-pitch for about 30 years in Houston-Softball Country Club Umpire-in-chief, ran Texas Instruments softball for 10 years while teaching school during day. I taught at ASA, USSSA,, ISA clinics in Greater Houston area from about 1975 until 1999. I was selected to call the 1985 World USSSA tourney in Carencro, LA, best food in the world. Umpiring like so many jobs is about being prepared, knowing the rules, conducting oneself so that 'crap' is less likely to happen. I hate laziness in umpiring.

@C I Everyone gets old. Perhaps except you. I had my time as a player in HS, rec ball and out of town tourneys until I could no longer. Then to stay in the game, I coached and called slo and fast pitch. I've had a life in ball and now I get to sit and think about all those thousands of good times. What have you done with your life? Anything?

That tournament is unlimited home runs. Most tournaments have home run limits

@@sw48 he's talking about at the coin toss. I seen that too but, didn't think someone would comment on it. Everybody shook hands but one guy didn't shake one of the coaches hands after he shook the little guy's hand. I don't think it was any disrespect intended, I think he though he'd already shook his hand because of the excitement of them about to play the ship. That's all I could think of.

Not true at all. Like DW said just above me, this is unlimited home runs. Every other tournament (save for the Major World Series) you have to use your home runs smart. Every player in the conference has home run power and can also base hit you to death

I will say it differently....If you want to be a major player then you better be damn good... One of the top players in your state. It takes alot of God given ability, practice and dedication to play at the major level. You need to hit with alot of power to get noticed.

@@sw48 well we wanna see how far the ball went so maybe follow it and do a slight zoom on where you think it went let the cam focus on the ball and give it a moment before panning back to the player let it breathe a lil otherwise great job! Really enjoy watching thanks for taking them

Get multiple cameras then lol have some set up behind fences or on foul ball line to get more perspective

D teams in this tournament barely scored a run and it was unlimited homers

Right exactly my point lol that's a good distance for HR for D ball players it makes hr more exciting A players it should be 350" 400" 350" or perhaps use not so hot balls
