I grew up 20 minutes from Gatlinburg. I was up there almost every weekend as a teenager. I moved away about twenty years ago but I still miss home. Thanks for taking me back!
About a year ago my puppy Fred died. We spent 17 delightful years together! He was a Pepper look alike. Fred was a Coton. Your comment on Pepper needing a new bath made me think how much I wish I could give my Fred just one more bath. Love your Pepper doggie up! He is precious more than you know. On a happy note, you three make me smile so much. I am approaching 80 yo and likely will not travel much more. But just in case I have more than a few Tripped goodies. DCH
😁😁😁😁 *Pepper Pepper Pep . . . . can do nooo wrong in our eyes* !! I absolutely luvvv how her ears fly in the wind and rests her head on edge of the downed window. *She reallly deserves a GO PRO of sorts --think they attach to a special harness or something* Now 'that' footage right there would get ya even closer to a deserved 150 thousand followers++ !!
*32 minutes long vid . . .annnd I sooo am anticipating at LEAST 30 minutes of just PEPPER* 😍👍😁 Just caught visions set to 'our' Pepper doggo please. If not this time, then plllease in the future. No shade to yaz. . . but in this crazy time in the world, we just need the likes of visions of wee Pepper & greats tunes, you two can take a deserved break from audio over talking in post edit.
Nice scenery everywhere you look even from the balcony of the hotel . Also Pepper is such a cute dog and she seem to be very well behaved , listening to your instructions .
There’s a guy with a Facebook page Radim Photo that has THE best synchronous fireflies (and Blue Ghost) photos and videos. I highly recommend coming back for the fireflies. You can come a week or two before or after the park lottery and still see the show. It’s an amazing experience. Also Cherokee national forrest is a little bit away from the GSMNP and does allow dogs on their trails. It’s also WAY less busy. Hope you enjoyed our area! Safe travels.
I love watching Pepper! Jolie Fleur (our toy poodle) loves to travel with us, dog friendly information is the best from you guys! Jolie Fleur approved!
These videos are so well made and very informative...I enjoy living vicariously through your travel vlogs...Can't wait to travel again soon. :) P.S. LOVE PEPPER!!!
I love that you have a pepper voice ...you know that sometimes people have a really annoying way that they talk to their animals when no one else is around ...for you guys it's just cute! thank you guys for sharing ...pepper takes really good care of you too! it's good that you give her some love back
Just received my toiletry hanging bags I ordered for daughter in law and me. Love them!!! Recommend everyone buy tripped travel gear!!! I’ve bought it all!!! Thanks for making packing so easy. I use the backpack for a purse !! I need the purple one next !!
Waved at you!! Was on my motorcycle with 24 other bikes through the Smokey's! Was there in Pigeon Forge for 6 days of riding! Small world! I just got home yesterday..
There were two guys playing golf, and a funeral passed, so one guy stopped, and waited for the funeral to pass before continuing with his game. His companion complimented him on his respect for the funeral, to which the guy replied, 'Well, its the least I could do, we were married for forty years!'
Love it. I’ve covered most of the areas you guys visited, in this episode. Y’all make me want to return because I’ve missed so much. Plus, y’all are Way More Fun than I am.
I am really happy for you that your channel grew sooo much :) I am here since Day 1 and you re just such good people; dont stop what you doing and maybe we see some longer Travel VLOGs again. Your New Zealand Series made me go there! ;-) All the love to you guys!
The two Percheron horses you showed at Cades Cove were the ones we rode the last time we did the trail ride there. Saw our first bear. A sow and three cubs. It was awesome!
Oh rad, I’m going to be there in a week! You guys barely scratched the surface of the cool stuff to see in the park though, I’d highly recommend going again without the pup sometime!
Discovered your channel yesterday during our traditional rainy Memorial Day weekend. We're life long campers and enjoy your videos! And great tips! PS, bears are regular visitors in our back yard. They are peopleaware (so far).
Fantastic episode this week Tim and Fin! I really liked all the Pepper time. I just got myself a retired 5 year old Chocolate Lab from a breeder and would like to take Saje on adventures like this. Take care and hope you get your vaccinations soon. Peace and Calm. 👍🏻😎🇨🇦
Awww my home! I miss it dearly! You’ve got to go back in the summer when it’s all green or in early October to see the leaves. Next time check out Pisgah National Forest in the Brevard to see all the waterfalls!
To see more of the “Smokey” Mountains, you’ll see that thick fog in the morning especially in the fall or at the end of the summer. Interesting folklore, for every foggy morning in August, they’ll be 1 inch of snow for the coming winter.
Great video as usual! I love the Smoky Mountains, my wife and I usually take a trip in December every year. It's great seeing you guys hit all the spots we've been to!
Nice adventurous video! Featuring Pepper the wonder dog (What will she encounter next)? Wondering if most parks have an audio tour? Thanks for sharing! 🖖🏻👍🏻😘🙏🏻
Harriet and I just moved to Virginia. We are planning a trip to the Smokies. Love the Vlog. Pepper shines. Hope our Ginger (Shitzu) can do the same. Looking forward to the next trip.
Dear Fin & Tim, love your videos. We discovered you in 2019 as we planned our Vietnam trip. Maybe we missed who is the guy/device who tells you what you can discover when you are traveling. Would be nice to use when we hit the road to Palm Springs, Idyllwild, Borrego Springs, Temecula & more soon. Thanks a million, Sylvie & Michel
Ok, the vest you have for Pepper.. love & need one for my little guy! Where did you get it? I was in GSM in 2020, did not get to spend as much time as I wanted but plan on going back! The other lift is called Anakeesta, has a really cool tree walk and shops/restaurants at the top.
First time visiting your channel and I love the Smokies! Did the pet friendly hotel room actually smell like pets? Im always hesitant to book those because of a bad experience i had.
My ma had a mini poodle named Pepper and was actually the color of Pepper! :) I guess if you called your dog "Salt" people wouldn't get it.. LOL Love your videos as always, nobody knows all that it takes to make these videos unless they are doing it themselves. I love that your editor is in Bali ! So cool! Keep those "digital nomads" EMPLOYED!!!
Oh man I was just there last weekend and I totally forgot about GyPSy Guide, loved it for Miami to Key West. I definitely want to bring my dog next time! Edit: had two bear sightings #verybearaware
We went to the Smokey Mountain National Park as well last week. We didn’t bring our dog to Clingman’s Cove because the park rules state that dogs are only allowed on the two trails Tim mentioned. I did see a sign at Clingman’s Cove that said “No Pets”. Personally I don’t care that you took Pepper, she’s well behaved and adorable but it’s misleading to people who may want to do the same. To really see the beauty of the park and do some hiking you should go without the dog.
Great video - we are going here with our 2 small dogs next week and I want to find some great look out views for some pictures! We are coming from Maryland and staying in the same hotel in Gatlinburg. At 7:58 min mark, is that called something specific? How would we find that (using the Gypsy guide app?) thanks for any tips, your video gets me excited to visit!
I love this approach with taking your pup!! But I found the Smoky Mountain National Park NOT really in dog friendly at all. We were not allow to take her with us up Clingman dome... We even had our tiny pup in our backpack and the forest rangers stopped us. We were so disappointed.
How about a link to that jacket you put on Pepper at 11:35. My dog Dude is about the same size maybe a little smaller at 11lbs but I think he would love it. SWFMTH
