When I saw Bobby Brown in bulletproof vest singing,I knew he was with the shits.lol.This is Hip Hop history.Exactly how NYC was.Dropping demos off at the record comapnies in Manhattan, going to the studio sessions and not knowing who would show up, going to clubs rocking the mic etc..You had to grind back in the days.REal Hip Hop.Imagine being in the room with LL, BB, REd Elert at the same time? That was unheard of in those times.
I met BB at club Highland in Hollywood Ca. Chingy was the headline he Never showed up “The Game” performed “How we do” NO 50😒 but he had bout 50 Million Bloods on stage🤦🏽♀️ Longstory short BB walked straight outta VIP up to me kiss me on my left shoulder and gave me that look when he tilts his head with his 👀 pointed down! I started busting the🖕🏽UP. he then followed me round the whole club all night, he took me too meet Bushwick Bill, and soo many other Celebrities, I couldn’t keep up That Night was EPIC AF!!! SALUTE✊🏽 DOPE interview! Safe too say BB keep the same Energy with EVERYBODY round the world COOL ASS DUDE💯 RIP BushWick Bill🙏🏽 THIS IS HISTORY!!!
I was just telling a young cat at work that "YOU GET BETTER WITH TIME, NO SUCH THING AS GETTING OLD"!! Smooth B, is the personification of that concept in his 50s and still got mad energy!!
That's my favorite kind of interview. Get out of the way and let the artist tell the story the way it needs to be told. No need to interrupt every 5 seconds to kill the momentum.
