Oh! I have a SmoothSkin Gold and I followed the directions for three months back in 2016 and to this day I barely ever have to shave legs and under arms. This is a really great device!
Just got mine and used it for the first time today on my neck (where the baby hairs usually grow) and face! 🎉 I was scared it might hurt, so I put it on the gentle setting. It just felt hot, no pain at all. My arms did feel a little pain (like a quick pinch) plus the heat, on gentle mode. My arms are pale from being covered all winter and my arm hair is dark. My bikini area hurt even more than my arms. It felt like I was getting shocked and the device felt hotter, even on gentle mode. The hair in that area is more coarse and darker than everywhere else, so that's why.
If you wax, you pull the hair out at the root and the laser has no follicle to destroy, so no you cannot wax if you want this to work. You must shave per the instructions.
My device looks completely different, as far as the face of the device is concerned. I'd purchased mine from Temu, so I don't know just how authentic the device is. Could you reply to my comment and maybe guide me on how to go about trying to authenticate the product. Thank you!
Sorry but I don’t know anything about fake or dupe devices. I only get devices from the real manufacturer since I care about FDA clearance, efficacy, and safety.

Is that okay? I tried to clean it with dry cloth but it still stick. I also want to ask, have your device flash a red and white light on the side light simultaneously? When it flash together, the device can't be used 🥺
Hi Jennifer. From what I know, yes it has unlimited flashes. But I would check directly with Current Body or the site to confirm. My codes normally work for the UK since Current Body is UK based. I did my third session with that device and I start see results in my arms and my underarms where the hair is thin. I have a question, did you get rid of all the hair of the bikini?
I recommend going to the website and checking the skin tone and hair shades they provide to see if it's a match for you, and then asking customer service via the website if you still have questions.
I don’t recommend using it near your brain like that. I think the instructions say to only use it on the lower portion of your face so you don’t use it near your brain.
