Wow!, I finally got the time to watch this video and comment and I realized that I told my daughter-in-law that I would make the asparagus to go with dinner tonight. I'd better get off the internet.
This also is one of my favorite meals it and meatloaf. I make mine with fresh mushrooms and Lipton dry beefy mushroom or beefy onion soup mix for the gravy. That with corn and Texas garlic toast and I’m in heaven. 👍❤️
This looks awesome Catherine!😍 I'm just wondering why you didn't invite me over!😋 You've loaded that plate with everything that I love and I could really help you eat it since you made a double batch!☺️ I love the flavor of onions but don't like the texture but I could eat my fair share with mushrooms!😚 Salisbury steak is something we grew up on and our mother made it very much like yours!😘 Thanks for sharing another great recipe!🥰
I love Salsbury steak with onions and mushrooms but I always make my gravy from scratch. My family loves it. Great dinner for anytime. Yours looks delicious.
Oh my … that looks amazing and I can only imagine the smell of it ! I always say “ I could eat gravy on a flip flop .. “ LOL. Brown gravy is amazing always !!
I just wanted you to know, I did make this right after you uploaded the video. Oh my goodness, they were delicious. A HUGE success in my house and is going to be a regular from here on out. I didn't deviate from your recipe except for I only used 1 onion and not 2. It would be just as good with 2 I know but I only had 1 to use. I highly recommend this recipe for anybody reading this comment. Thank you so much Catherine.❤❤❤
It lists 2 tsp Worcester sauce but does it go in the meat mixture or the gravy? It doesn’t say. I made it last night and just put it in the gravy. It was excellent! Thank you!
Omgoodness does this look delicious or what!?! Would you mind air mailing a plate of this to VA please and thank you?! 🤣🤣 Thank you for sharing this with us. Have a great day filled with happiness and comfort foods.
Catherine ! This is the first time I've watched one of your videos. I am extremely impressed in your presentation. And those Salisbury steaks look absolutely mouth watering! Thank you!!!! I'm getting ready to subscribe. Looking forward to seeing you again!!!!
that 'finger-flip' you did getting a patty on the spatula was very subtle, but a HUGE game changer! I would have used tongs and accidentally broke it all apart! Your recipes always turn out amazing and you mustve read my mind because i was already thinking about making a salsbury steak or meatballs n gravy meal...Thanks as always
Cathrine I use to make something similar with cube steak years ago when my kinds were young. It was economical and made for an okay dinner. The meat could be chewy. Your recipe evelates this version of the dish to a whole new level! I can’t wait to try it. I recall the cube steak would get floured before pan frying them. I’m guessing to help thicken the gravy? Have you ever floured your beef patties? Your gravy looked rich, silky and smooth. There didn’t appear to need any subsequent thickening? I’m going to try this recipe soon. It’s just the two of us now. Maybe i’ll cut everything in half? I’m still learning to cook for two vs 4-5. I always think I won’t have enough and end up having more than plenty! 😂 I guess it will take more time. Catherine thank you for sharing this recipe with us. You’re a sweetheart. I love all your recipes. Happy New Year and best wishes to you and your family for a healthy year ahead. 😊
I made this wonderful recipe for Sunday lunch. It was so delicious. Love your videos. Look forward to each new one. I am 80 years old and still enjoy cooking and trying out new ones.

Catherine this is a yummy for your tummy recipe. One of my family favorite recipes of yours. Great on a cold day for supper. Most definitely making this again soon.😊
As soon as I'm recovered from my surgery and can use both my arms this is going to be a recipe I will make thank you so much Catherine this recipe looks fantastic
This was great. I tend to make bistro type dishes, but we all have good food memories from when we were kids. And Salisbury Steak was one of the few entrees in school lunches that I liked. And yours tasted exactly like it! I know a school lunch comparison is damning you with faint praise, but it tasted that good to me as a kid. One other factor was that recipes usually require adjustments of some sort. Even if it's just using a different kitchen tool. Everything about was perfect in progression. 😋
Looks so scrumptious:) I hope you don’t mind me saying I just try to use a different spatula one to handle the raw meat patties and clean one to handle cooked ones, I know you have to rush though in videos
Miss Catherine I was just letting you know it seems like forever since I commented on your recipes. I’ve been dealing with a lot. Trying to get my bedroom finished, an abusive son, now my sister she has vascular dementia but don’t think I have forgot about you are wasn’t watching you. Also haas a lot on my plate, physically & financially but I still save everyone of your recipes & I will compliment & say. I absolutely a, still a fan & will continue. You were the first cook I ever subscribed to. Hope your family have a Merry Christmas & Happy blessed New Year
Your Salisbury dish looks delicious. I like how you gather the spills and toss them in the pot, thats my m.o. also (onion) I can’t stand to waste any. Great job, take care.
Cathrine ? I didn’t see link to look into getting the Wagu ground beef ,really want to try it. Love Salisbury and onions with mashed potatoes,Mmmm Mmmm Pioneer gravy mix is what I only use if not making homemade. You’ve made me hungry,😂
