Scalp Micropigmentation Needles: Permanent Makeup Needles Vs SMP Needles. ONLY use Scalp Micropigmentation Certified products, supplies and equipment when completing a Scalp Micropigmentation Treatment. In order to complete a proper SMP treatment, you will need 1) SMP Training 2) SMP Power Source 3) SMP Machine 4) SMP Needles 5) SMP Inks. If any of these supplies and/or equipment is NOT SMP Certified, then you will NOT be able to complete a proper SMP treatment.
Ensure that your provider is using ONLY SMP Certified Products to complete your treatment.
Scalp micropigmentation is not permanent makeup, and it is not tattoo, however, rather SMP is a hybrid of the two modalities. The Scalp Micropigmentation Center only uses equipment and supplies specifically made for SMP treatments ONLY. We do not use permanent makeup needles to complete our treatments, we only use certified SMP supplies and equipment.
