Yup yup, big ups to the team that brought it back. There’s a few other servers that stuck around after re went down but there’s nothing quite like this experience again

@@dadouka2491 What else is available? I saw a Russian one but I dont think the translations were done too well lol. Having a mix of JP/RU/EN is tough.

@@teronega1337 I can’t vouch too much for the other servers since I personally havent played them, the Russian server currently has more custom content but new moon is also working on their own as well as having reworked and new classes added. Its really up to your preference

@@IronBlaze77 Didn't know that, thanks for directing me to a great soundtrack! I was thinking that this glitchy, twitchy breakbeat remix would fit an SMT game's horror and tech-focused themes, particularly for regular humans made into devil summoners using the Demon Summoning Program.

I feel like the twitchy, fast-paced breakbeat remix used in this trailer fits the horror aspects of SMT's setting while still having some upbeat energy, as one might have when being able to summon demons to fight said horrors back

@@sidewinder2716 You’re very welcome! Aegis Rim has an absolutely phenomenal soundtrack that deserves more recognition. An SMT game with more of a drum and bass, breakbeat and breakcore style would make for such a great mainline game. As you said, it’d honestly fit the series’ themes and aesthetic. Juxtaposing the music we’ve heard in the series’ past with it would bring with it an otherworldly vibe, kind of like the contrast between Hyrule and the Twilight realm in _Twilight Princess._

The project’s name is new moon. The actual game is Imagine. We actually do this to AVOID copyright infringement. Giving full credit to the original game creators. Also as mentioned in other comments, Atlus is aware of this server and have an agreement that, long story short, as long as the server does not profit in anyway we’re fine. There’s a few other restrictions but so far we’re 3 months in no problems

Consider it moreso an expansion. Its the vanilla game with tweaks and balances and a few new classes along with custom content planned

The server owner has personally been in contact with atlus lawyers via his own lawyers. The server is completely fine so long as we stay within the boundaries of the agreements

Theres a team dedicated to translating the game currently

I say give it a go. The only custom content that has been done so far is reworking the classes so there’s nothing that feels underwhelming when compared to others. Biggest thing being melee and how it now has tools to apply elemental weaknesses instead of needing to carry a weapon or scabbard for a specific element

@@dadouka2491 how are guns now then? I wanted to do a gun build when I first started however found out that magic dominates the game for the most part so it wasn't really worth it.

@@ils4844 no sir, rapid (gun class) was always king dps for bosses. Magic only triumphed when it came to mobbing and even then hexers eventually took that from mages. Now every class has tools to keep up
