" Life inside a coffin is a lonely one indeed, but it gave Mot ample time to surf GameFAQs. During his quest for video game nirvana, he discovered an interesting little spell known as Beast Eye; a move which creates extra turns from nothing. " - Jim Reaper.
1. Beast Eye 2. Makakaja 3. Makakaja 4. Makakaja 5. Makakaja 6. Beast Eye 7. Makakaja (No more effect!) 8. Makakaja (No more effect!) 9. Makakaja (No more effect!) 10. Beast Eye 11. Beast Eye 12. Megidolaon 13. Megidolaon 14. Megidolaon This is what happened to me... In Japan we call this "Theater Mot (モト劇場)"...
Actually, there is a video out there where Mot got into a pattern of using Beast Eye and buff skills to make his magic really high, then oneshot them all with Megidoloan. It's pretty hilarious.
i think it was supposed to be a spam he resorted to if conditions were met, such as elizabeth's diarahan/9999 megidolaon spam. unfortunately, someone screwed up the conditions so it's triggered at random instead.
Titania made this fight a breeze with Ziodyne, on one of my attempts I did get a nasty demon eye combo but managed to avoid those altogether on the actual kill.
Once he was out of mana I was able to slowly revive my party and steamroll his arse. But I had to use a lot of beads during the whole draining proceedure. That's why I love this game! In other RPG's developers tend to give bosses unlimited MP or Mana pools but it was a pleasant suprise to see Mot run out of MP :D
Actually the flashing turns are half turns and the skill converts a full turn into a number of half turns. So theoretically, he could have x times the number of normal turn counters he has.
they can use half turns to cast beast/dragons eye and the kicker is they cost 0 mp.....found ou that courtesy of my action replay allowing me to literally show me their afinities, health and mana in fight
Dekaji+ Party healing+ spamming only electric attacks + Luck= The secret of winning. Don't even bother buffing the defense because Megadolean just bypasses it.
So my first experience with this series was P5 and I’m looking forward to the HD remake of this game, but from all the fights I’ve seen I still can’t tell we’re your supposed to see the enemies health, I only see the turn indicators
If anyone is having trouble with this guy (i.e. don't have any electric spells) I have a tip. Use taunt to raise his attack, and then use tetrakarn/attack mirrors. Even though he only take 10% of the pyshical damage he gets wiped out in like three turns.
Dragon Eye no, Beast Eye oh yes. They technically don't "turn" a whole press turn into half-press turns - they just give extra half-press turns. This comes at a cost, though - 1 mp (you can tell this by analysing random enemies that use beast/dragon eye)
@MasterLL, I think abilties like Beast Eye and Dragon Eye can only be used with a Full turn counter, at least that's what I experienced againts all the bosses so far :)
FebruarysChronicles no it’s not, you’re just an elitist. At this point persona is not even a spin off. The persona series split form smt really early in it’s like. It’s really just it’s own continuity of the series. It split off on like Smt if. Which is a what if scenario of the events of the first game.
I know this is way too late but, in case you're still wondering, the "demon" in SMT goes back to the word "daemon". Daemon used to refer to any supernatural beings like gods, spirits, demons, etc.
Never had a problem with him Maybe because I always play on lowest difficulty level, since the only thing that changes are numbers, and I'm not into numbers games
@MasterLL however that was happen in my second battle with this one. in his 3rd turn he goes megidolaon makakaja and done 10 beast eye I think...never thought mot can spam that on me
Masakado's Shadow in 4 gets Guardian's Eye which grants even more actions than Beast Eye. It costs 250 MP per use and inheritance is restricted to Lite Fusion. Of course you have to actually beat him to get his fusion data
This boss was a major pain for me and I only beat this guy on my first turn due to a lot of luck which I was thankful for and making a new stategy midway though the fight. I was able to cast Sukukaja x5 before my entire party (Accept MC) were wiped out. My luck paid off because the boss kept raising his magic and casting Megadoloan which kept missing. Realising I couldn't hurt his health I targetted his mana having no idea if that would work. After about 15 minutes he actually ran out of mana!
they said that buffs was how it's supposed to play the game and i got stuck in this boss for not listening edit:i beat him, now i gotta get daisoujou and buffs.
Don't like Electric moves so much eh...? ZAP THAT SUCKER!! What the - !! OOO, paralysis! :D O_o.....yeah, the embodiment of why I freakin' HATE BEAST EYE!!! DX!!! One of the few times I am GLAD for the whole "lose a turn if you miss" mechanic. Bit tougher than the previous two fight, but nothing too difficult. Hopefully now the hallways will LOOK normal...
More of these statues..... So all ya gotta do is find which statue is the next boss? PLEASE, this is too easy! Wait, how can you actually tell....? Yeah, the whole "moving coffin" thing is no longer scary. WHOA BOY!! Surprisingly spry for a creature that stuck inside a stone sarcophagus. Okay, don't use ice spells on it.... I'm guessing this thing comes out of its coffin only to use magic attacks.
Mot was so easy I he only got 1 hit on me through the whole battle my MC and my demons had hard hitting zio skills and I used Dekaja when he raised his magic.
