SMT Persona 3:Attachment, Life for Life, Junpei's Resolution 

Atlus did in a game what Twilight couldn't do in four books and five movies.

When I thought about the fact that Jin repels fire in battle, but Junpei still manages to send him flying 10 feet backwards with a fire spell made this so much better for me.

Akihiko - Watch out, Junpei! He's got a gun! Junpei - Yeah, so? Akihiko - It's a cutscene gun, it'll actually kill you! BANG :T You go against Takaya a couple of times and your whole party casual gets shot like it's nothing, but when it's a cutscene it means death...

After hearing Takaya say "Such a meaningless death," when I fought him in Tartarus, I didn't just use a single attack and waste him. I drew the battle out to make him SUFFER. >:(

Here's a basic rule in RPG... a character can be shooted, stabbed, stricken by lightnings, burnt to a crisp and so on during battles and it's no big deal... but there's a thing RPG characters can't do nothing to prevent: PLOT DEATH.

"I...I want to be with you, Junpei. Forever." Honestly, I cried hearing that...

I love how the scene was handles in Portable more though. I just miss seeing Jin get "KNOCKED THE FUG OUT."

GOD DAMMIT JUNPEI U COULDNT JUST LET ME FEEL NEUTRAL FOR U HUH?!?!?!U HAD TO HAVE A REALLY SAD AND HORRIBLE SCENE IN WHICH I GAIN TONS OF RESPECT FOR U!!!!!!! *sobs into pillow*

Streaga logic: Movie: Makoto and co. fight Streaga while Junpei is being revived. Game: Junpei gets shot and they do nothing else but wait to get their asses kicked.

Goes to show how strong Junpei's feelings were at the time. Rage that transcends the elements... This scene was one of the best in P3.

Junpei: Right-hand man, comic relief, and Tear-jerker. All rolled into one.

I can't wait to see the movie version of this scene.

It's been years since I saw this scene for the first time. It still gets me.

I think Junpei should have been the one to gain the Wild Card in The Answer, because he fused two personas together on his own something that not even Minato couldn't do (Without Igor's assistance, of course.) Also, while i love this scene and everything about it, i can't help but feel that it would have been made more impactful if there was another member of Strega that was blown apart by Trismegistus' Agidyne, just to really demonstrate Junpei's anger.

Have to say I preferred the portable version of this scene better than this one. You could hear a more prolonged anguish in Junpei, as he had the rage-sobs and summoned his persona, shortly after Media appeared as well, and they fused. Junpei just screams "Burn in Hell" and blasts Takaya and Jin to an inch of their life.

People give Junpei shit all the time, but this is honestly his beast mode. Junpei put Jin on his ass with an Agi spell, and Jin REPELLS fire. That just goes to show how truly just how powerful Junpei has grown. He nearly kills Jin with impact of the spell alone.

Cutscene logic? Dunno, three people there know Recarm, and everyone else has access to Revival Beads and such.

Oh dude that should've been an easter egg. If you had the bullet proof vest/jacket it would cause different events to happen.

that proves how badass junpei is. He injured someone with agi even thought he nulls agi.

Guess this is why Junpei can't be romanced in Portable. Imagine losing not one, but two girlfriends.

Actually, that's exactly what it means. If you watch in battle, if you null, absorb, or repel an element, you don't even flinch. Jin took a hit, and got sent flying.

I like the voice actors of this game. All voices are perfect, especially Junpei. And its one of the greatest games I ever played. I cant wait till Perona 4 european release :)

Oh my gosh, I looked this up because it's been a while since I was at this part of the game... I choked up ;_; Junpei is my favorite from this game, and seeing him so devastated is heartbreaking. 8C

Does anybody notice that Junpei hits Jin with Agidyne, not only ignoring types and nullifications like Ash ignores types in Pokemon, but forgetting that Takaya was the guy who shot Junpei and killed Chidori in the first place? He even said her death was meaningless, lol.

One of my favorite scenes in history. When I saw the bit where Junpei loses it and gives rise to trismegistus for the first time I was like "holy shit..."

Now Chidori will live inside Junpei... forever.... Poor Junpei, now he'll never get another girl Only memories is left...

I would have loved it if Maniac Mode added new battles, and this is one of the best examples. Imagine Junpei having to fight Strega two on one alone. Then again, if he's underlevelled...

Actually their persona are only good against "otherworldly" things, they can only fight with persona in the dark hour and even then not against other humans. That's why an actual gun is such a brilliant weapon, dia can't fix it.

He nulls it, which is why he took the blow. But you have to remember just because he doesn't take damage doesn't mean its not powerful enough to knock him back.
