That's the best part about the demons in SMT in general, they may look like they will kill savagely you without a second thought (and they will) but just tell them a few compliments and stuff and suddenly they sell their souls to you
Watching this video was like a rollercoaster. Everytime it gets more ridiculous you don't expect it at all. After everything, your party being full was just the cherry on top
Bro just beat you and your whole squad, then tried to steal your lunch money only to suck you dry for refusing then made a snarky comment about why he can't stay over for the night. What an absolute girlboss
This is the equivalent of an anime villain beating all the main characters and then telling them to get stronger and challenge him again, except instead of challenging him it's inviting him to the party
@@yourehereforthatarentyouthey only tacked that onto the titles in America for 3, 4, and the PSP versions of 1 and 2IS (so 4 out of 6 with one only applying to a port). In Japan the first game is "Megami Ibunroku Persona" but after that it's just Persona
After reload left me disappointed gameplay wise (also, was nice of them to nerf one of my favorite boss battles and party member), I think I want to try out SMT. I got into persona for its story and characters (first game FES) but since I can’t have fun difficulty AND fun story/cast anymore, I might have to do SMT
If you go into SMT v and expect deeper character writings, then you'll gonna be disappointed. SMT is more about the world and how the it affect cast and how they react to it.
@@nibblesnarferWell not really with exception to V and Nocturne (Nocturne has a minimalist story) most SMT games like focuses on characters and their reactions to the world plus their philosophy, literally 4 and SJ had a depth character development might as well include SMT 2 while were at it
@@nibblesnarfer that’s fine, I don’t really think the writing of P4-5 was that good anyway, and clearly I want better gameplay so I’ll prob pick up the improved version when it comes out (esp cuz it’s supposedly improving in the story and characters department).
Out of all the funny shit i have seen with demon negotiations, this one is less funny because on top of having no room, you mess up on a crit charge phase demon. Like i think the funny bit is that he failed to kill you
>You fight him again >You 1 time not knowing what he can actually join it at 2 try >Party still full >He said fack you and never join again until you repeat all pain.
I'm pretty sure if you just go back to another Berith with an open slot he'll join immediately. But I do love the interactions with demons, they can be such divas lmao
No that was back in Nocturne when you could give Demons everything they wanted, but then they decided you were too willing to comply with their demands and just run off with say... 15,749 Macca, 2 Chakra Drops, and a Bead while leaving you with nothing for compensation
Hey he very much elaborated; he despised your vibe but likes your hair. Unfortunately your clubhouse is full so he just has to go instead of applying for membership
This whole franchise is gold, going back to the PS1 originals. The Digital Devil Saga games are great too. Basically, Square is the prom queen, but Atlus is the hot goth chick
Mmm that's the good SMT shit. I'm so glad they didn't make it "fair". Demons aren't fair. Demons should make you feel frustrated. It shouldn't BE fair. Every negotiation should make you tense. You're talking with a DEMON.
Atleast they do not do that nocturne shit anymore where you do all of this stuff and they are like: lmao byeeeeeeee. This one had the logical reason of having a full party and he didn't just leave.
Sorry for coming in out of nowhere, but why are people talking about this game so much now? According to Steam the remaster was released there on 2021... Although, I think I saw VTubers playing it, so it might explain the renewed fame.
