“ I don’t come cheap you know….I take you where you want to go, wait so long, then I’m a memory……Oh, and I don’t have and S on my chest….I’m down with you cats if the play calls for it…..otherwise I ain’t into violence”….the GREAT Jimmy Cole…..the coolest pilot in history….
No it isn't. I didn't need all the smugg attitude in this video, followed by that grit in his voice towards the end when he says smugglers blues. Who the hell is he to talk about the struggles of a smuggler? This dude wouldn't last a day. To hell with this video and song.🤬
Older dude in jail was telling me,back in 85 or whatever some guy hijacked the radio station or something, and played this song on repeat for 48 hours😅😅..the stuff you hear in county jail lol.... anybody know or heard about this???this in FL
I'll reply. This song sucks. I HATE IT. There need for the smug attitude in this video. I really didn't need all the grit in his voice towards the end when he said smuggler either. I don't know where this guy gets off telling me about the smugglers blues. He wouldn't last a day.
@@nathueil1 the music is pretty much standard blues well done but standard. I really enjoy the way he sings it and I enjoy the lyrics. I like that gravely voice on the end of smugglers blues. "
@@Ti-nf4fq Not me it was too assertive for the moment visually and in audio as far as the build and release of the song at that point. Just too much grrrr and I didn't appreciate it. Plus Glen never was a "smuggler" so he's got no cred with me even though I'm no smuggler either.
How absolutely prophetic! "From the office of the president right down to me and you!" WOW The song was so far ahead of its time. Miami Vice was THE show for the time period and this episode rocked!
