Got it first thing this morning and 4 out of 5 games I was screwed over by the mm, rng and teammates so only averaged about 1.6k damage and had a 0 damage game on my 4 match by getting spotted going to town then I was lit up and lost all my hp to invisible tanks who went for me instead of the waffle or 279e next to me. The 5th game though finally payed off, 6.7k damage 4.7k blocked, 2.6k base xp with 15 medals with the M badge lol, so maybe I have been getting unlucky mostly so I'm on 50/50 on this tank whether I like it or not. The replay is top trending on the in game replay section.
First, great review and fantastic games! Second, I bought this tank, and I was just penned in the turret by a FV215b 183. How it penned me for 1200 plus damage is a mystery. Maybe my angle was wrong. But that’s a little concerning. I suppose I’ll have to do as you suggest and throw a camo net on this for tier 10 games.
@@Sammael66685 It actually penned straight on to the turret. It wasn't the roof. The armor is 275mm but is angled. Not an extreme angling, but about 75º. The pen on the enemy tank is 310 (max). Because of the angling, I expect the round to not penetrate. It did about 1,200 damage. That was unexpected. I can only assume that the tank was positioned in such a way to make it flat rather than angled at 75º. But I could have sworn the tank was simply facing me. Not sure. I forgot to look at the replay to be certain of the angle.
GG.. The garage review was good. That last game was awesome. I love the skin and will probably pick up the tank. I also like autoloader's.. It probably will get a buff later. WG has learned a hard less, its easier to buff a tank then nerf it.
Great video as always Petty. You mentioned "render" at 29:53 in your video. I always thought that was the radio range cutout. Like when they get too far away you can't see them due to not enough signal. Am I wrong?
I don’t understand WGs recent love relationship with autoloaders that have 4+ second intraclip reload. I makes no sense to me. Just make a regular auto loader, maybe make it have 300 alpha like the Nomad, but since it’s a destroyer, make it reload faster and have higher pen. It’ll be plenty strong gun wise, plenty good armor wise and you don’t suffer waiting for 6 full seconds between each shot. Otherwise just make it a single shot normal gun and be done with it.
Supposed to be sustained DPM in the shots in the clip so the intra is faster than *most* 400 alpha tanks at the tier and with a big clip you have to try and bluff out when loaded or not (although for console port of it they nerfed the full clip reload) it's feature of the line
With all due respect, Petty, but this time you‘re trying to add zest to a turd. This thing is horribly underpowered. Bad mobility, Bad penetration values, Bad gun stats, bad dpm, bad view range (the T28 proto got 380m view range, and there are plenty tier 8 TDs with 370m). Even the concealment rating is nothing to write home about.
Hey buddy try changing your setup. I found a very effective equipment set up optics Spell Liner And traction system. For your cruise skills to increase your guns effectiveness use all of your gun perks along with Armor angling. Situational awareness. And general mechanics it sounds like a strange setup but this setup is very effective you will be Shocked. At how this improves this tank's performance it makes it very competitive.
@@arthurbates5566 Or just use a better TD with the usual setup like rammer, camo net, optics and don‘t waste a thought. The Yazi and Shashka are good examples.
But it honestly not trash. It's just ok. Nothing to write home about, not saying it's worth it, but it's absolutely a capable tank. Trash would be something that just cannot pull its own weight and struggles to put up what would be an awful game for anything else (like the Fortress or Brick were back in the day, and like the Bar)
The armor is troll, it's slow af, terrible aim time, can't turn for shit, the dpm is a joke, the hp is a joke, gun handling is a joke.... Tank is trash
