I appreciate what you've done here. I have my Beetle TDI donor and my kit is in the mail. Houston gets plenty of rain, so I'll have to follow many of your steps.
@@hesty32 so it will not hold moisture against the panels and corrode the panels from within, ala the mid seventies Alfa Romeo, Alfasud? They filled the voids in the sheet metal braces like under the hood, and that ended up in a financial disaster for Alfa.
Its not exactly defined but my opinion is neighborhood of 700 lbs. If you change your springs or add air helpers you can bump it up a little. a motocross bike, jetski etc is fine but I would load my Harley unless you do some extra reinforcements
