The latest single and music video from Chinese punkers, SMZB (生命之饼). A tribute to the Chinese punk scene and to the late Lei Jun (China's most famous skin head).
Glad to see China is giving way to a more relaxed view on music. China has the potential to become a cultural power house by lifting laws on its freedom of expression and this music is a great example of that change.
Was curious because the way the west perceives China, whether there was such a thing as Chinese punk. Got to say I'm not disappointed, better than a lot of English punk bands, am putting this on a play list, love the pipes
Are they actually in China though. Ci jinping even bans dyed hair, pearcings, snd tattoes - for talent shows at.least. Maybe because its internet but I can bet you if they trief that.on the street they'd never see the light of day again and their instruments publivly banned . To put the icing on the cake, their music would be blamed on the fucking CIA ..haha
Absolutely incredible! Love the Chinglish! There’s some outstanding Chinese punk! Some should get together & tour the U.S! Just bring Dummy Toys with you!
Rebelling and freedom isn’t allowed in China I don’t think they would playing this unless used in propaganda. Would love to see freedom in that country.
