@@DHYohko Silence works both ways in this stage. It helps you ignore the dodge of the bird-like seaborns and can prevent the helmet and hunching dudes from spreading the tile corruption when they die. Ethan with his skill 1 can deal a fixed amount of arts damage to the target he hits, so it could be considered a sort of "pseudo true damage". I am not sure if this applies even if the target dodges the strike that procs the skill (I am assuming it applies anyway, but someone correct me if I am wrong)
@@gachaisbadcivilization8701 I've just had a test run of this and no, if Ethan doesn't hit the target the DoT isn't applied to them so it's not any form of 'pseudo true damage'
@@gachaisbadcivilization8701 well... DoT still applies even if attack missed but Damage of DoT is dodgeable, so it is not enough good if only 1 DoT, better 2 if you want to deal with dodgers here... I have a suggestion... Well if you have Texas S2, we don't need some character, so Myrtle with texas from start is enough for thorns + Lapland so just we wait for some more point to spawn tank, I have Jaye on e2 with module, so i have enough damage for boss buffers and i have absinthe s2 for some more damage... It could work I think ... Try my variant if you have same characters...
@@GhostVilka In my case I have E2 lappy and thorns. That is generally enough. Of course, there is always that oof moment when multiple enemies get blocked and lappland targets the wrong one, so when the tile spreading dudes die, I kinda get fxcked. Anyway, I beat this stage with a Ling solo, so I kinda didn't have much to worry about, though autodeploy might be impossible with all the RNG. That said, thanks for the suggestions. Now that I have done all the ex stages I might try those strats
Thank you! I had every member, but I changed out spot for Gummy and fang for Myrtle. Added courier and caridigan for stalling the Brandguider to not wait on redeploy time for Fang and Gravel. Now I can auto deploy and Farm.
@@TheGugugu7 yeah, I knew it prevented the goop, and I even read the description of the dodge mob, but for some reason it didn't click for me until now that silence would actually work lmao.
Works great! I used Lappland at the bottom to ensure that all enemies there are silenced and reduce the pressure on Jaye. Her range and S2 helps silence enemies before Thorns kills them. Having her at E2 is highly recommended for guaranteed silence Amiya E2 S3 works wonders for the 3rd phase boss, and not immediately killing the spewers that appear in the 4th phase gives more than enough time to reposition your medic, casters, and other DPS for the 4th boss. Autodeploy still fails occassionally due to timing issues on the top right lane, but I'm already fine with a 4/5 success rate
Shit & here I was using lappland to kill ghetto guys at the top left lol. All well after 5 hours of having to learn to nail everything perfectly by the millisecond I finally did it (with ch'en alter. Every event they surprise me with how annoying the final boss is lol
After 100+ tries with varying teams and failed attempts and slowly losing sanity(literally and figuratively) I finally got to clear it with your guide! thanks again for making this
replaced meteorite with gnosis + handy device, and wow he did absolutely amazing had to tweak this for my high level ops, but otherwise thank you for the guide!
this stage can also become omega low end by just using Ling to solo(but requires max pot, otherwise texas for the +2 DP), but that requires precise timing and some RNG
roughly what level ling? mine is only E2 level 60, but has S3M3. I'm slowly on my way to getting it done with this guide but it's been a long slog and if I can cheese it with Ling then I'd rather do that
So, for some reason the hockey pucks (I forget their real name) keep pushing the regular enemies (the top-lane ones) out of the way when I try this. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to release it when they're perfectly in the center or something?
nope. go to the little handy bot, change the "Incremental Motion Firmware" to 'Interdiction - Technique'. The problem is you have the +1 block buff on, which means the pucks push the enemies out instead of doing what it's supposed to.
@@orewaren8549 ...oooooh, that explains everything actually. Well, no matter, I got around it by dropping in Nearl TRK with S2 instead. Thank you for the explanation though, that's very helpful.
Auto deploy system once again outperformed itself with this event. In this stage for example, the tree guy has some strange movement timings, so every third auto deploy or so failed because roomba missed 1 or 2 hits thanks to tree guy entering the last tile too late. Adjusted it to deploy roomba a bit later just to find out that the tree guy now moves past that tile even before the roomba is deployed.
Thx u for save my life for this brutal stage. Eventhough I had tried so my guide and on this guide so many time for so longggg. But in the end this guide is POG! 😭🙏

Pushing the enemies to the BlueBox for some reason fails, so not sure if they patched it.
This guide is freaking awesome dude.. thanks this strategy help me a lot.. firstly I don't know if the device can do that much of damage before. Even I use many 6 star i keep struggling as hell bro..
nice guide. i got a question tho. Is it possible to replace Thorns with Lappland for some extra silence plus the arts damage or is Thorns' raw dps absolutely necessary against the boss in his second stage?
I think Lappland E2 is a good alternative. For sure she can silent the enemies more, but you have to admit that her DPS is lower than Thorns. So you should also replace Spot and Ansel with your best healing defender and medic. And I recommend you to prepare another sniper facing right deployed two tiles lower than Honeyberry in case some enemies leak behind Spot.
I don’t know why but I have mud spawning on the top right which makes killing the boss on the left at abt 30 pretty hard what should I do? I have e2 S3M3 thorns and my Jaye is already maxed but he is unable to deal much damage there. Should I use mountain ?
At 2:17, you have to block the Regressed Brandguider in the top lane on the left of Fang. Otherwise the boss will gain his ability to generate the blue mud.
@@Leon-Arknights ahhh, so the mud that came to my bottom is because the boss eat the buff from this one huh ? At the first im trying to kill it ASAP, but the mud keep coming. So, let the boss eat the other buff and kill this one far from the boss
The cause is the other enhancement that gives all operators +1 block. The frisbee for some reason also counts as an operator and also gets +1block. So since it blocks the enemy, it also pushes the enemy out of that tile. Just remove that +1block and it will work
Hey Dr. Leon, so I honestly love the concept of this stragity, however I am having some slight problems, The Brand still spawns even though I have the Jaye attacking them, which lets some of the guys pass though the defenders, so what am I doing wrong?
I tried to block it with Gravel at 1:52 but I failed. You can try with some other melee, like Noir Corne whose ATK is low but HP is high, to block it. The idea is to deploy Jaye and silence it before it losses half HP. Then it won't generate any brand. But that's a bug, sometimes it still generates the brand although it is silenced already. Then you have to quit and do it again. I hate this bug.
Did some tweaking since I couldn't stop them from dropping sea mud. So I used the romba mostly for clean up instead of killing the boss. I took Amiya instead of Meteor to help kill the boss. And Lumen was my 2nd healer mostly for trust.
so u do everything same as Leon but you use the romba as cleaner. can u tell me how you kill the boss on the top lane, the one leon use romba to kill it, i can manage almost all of the timing, but for the romba, i kept miss it
@@ZikrySensei I did notice the roomba seems to miss enemies if they aren't right in the middle of the tile, if that's what you're talking about. Oh and someone said if you have the +1 block it messes the roomba up.
I am following the video but somehow the hockey pucks couldn't kill the boss. In the video, from 2:54, the boss is killed by using 3 pucks. However, I couldn't reproduce the result as the boss shields up after the second puck strike and takes minimal damage. I have already configured the little hand so that the puck bounces between walls. Anyone has the same problem?
Wow, that's tricky. You have to kill the boss's first form ASAP. Otherwise it will move immediately when it enters the second form, then you lost the chance to release the hockey pucks. And you have to release the hockey pucks after the boss completely revives. Otherwise if you release the hockey pucks a little bit earlier, the damage won't be enough. But you can take some more ops like AOE sniper or AOE caster to deal some damage.
Getting more abilities to silence (other than spiders, aura drones and refraction) is cool for Lappland enjoyers, she was nothing but an inferior Thorns so far in my eyes. Now she gets utility value, bery nice.
That one is special. Once it losses over half HP, it requires one more block. That means you have to deploy a melee who can block at least two enemies to block it.
No, Jaye S1 can silence the enemies. Then the enemies won't make the tiles blue. You can try Lappand E2, this is the only operator who can replace Jaye.
I've been trying this strat since yesterday but I never manage to make it work. Sometimes the enemies that leave the brand on death at the bottom still do it despite being hit by both Jaye and Lappland, might be a timing issue but if I don't use Lappland the wave with 3 of them leaks one. On top side I can't seem to be able to keep the enemy that smears the brand when low on hp, I think you're keeping him in the blue square so the brand doesn't come out but when I do it after a few seconds it just continues to move for some reason. I've tried to keep going even if I leaked the enemy on top but when I did, the boss became immune to the hand of the saint bounce attack on top right so I'm at a loss.
First of all, I think your little handy setting is the same with mine which is good. For Jaye and Lappland silence, I think that's a bug. Sometimes it happens. For the top left enemy, when it losses over half HP, it will require one more block. That means you have to deploy a melee who can block at least two enemies to block him. And yes, you have to block him in the blue square, otherwise it will produce the brand.
@@lotusluminance5872 he left two slots empty can always just fill it up for extra firepower to deal with the top lane I just used silverash to deal with the top lane
Can you bring myrtle here like replace myrtle as fang for the first deployment? Of course, fang would still be in the team because of the top right guy needing someone with attack to get blocked.
@@Leon-Arknights Yup! I'm still going to put fang on my team to block that enemy, but I'm having DP problems, so I'll use myrtle as my first deployed operator. Thanks!
on the top lane during the 2 enemy u need to kill with the device can i use an operator instead if i can who is suitable (no 6*) since somehow my phone cant seems to kill the enemy properly with the device
First of all, make sure the Little Handy is "Sruvival command Melee" + "Hand of the Saint Patrol" and remove all the other parts. For the top lane, I used the device to kill the 33rd enemy at 3:53. I think this is not what your are asking. That's not too tricky. Then I used two devices to kill the tree monster at 6:24. Two devices are not enough, so I deployed Kroos at 5:58 to deal some damage. Or maybe you don't want to kill the enemies with the devices? You can discuss with Amphiptere D. in the comments, he did that without devices. Good luck!
Hello everyone i have a question can i use hoolheyak instead lappland i dont have lappland to silence enemies since hooleyak can silence enemies too thank you
in 2:50, i already used Thorn's skill a little bit later after Jaye unleashed his skill but still the nethersea brand spreads! What could have gone wrong?
this bug of brand still being spread even when brandguider is silenced is unimaginably annoying, even worse than predators with their insane dodge, I am tired of resetting I don't know how many times by now, 8th? for me this is worst event ever, there's nothing fun about it, rng and bugs. thank you for the guide nonetheless, but I guess I'll skip this rerun.
@@Leon-Arknights I am aware of that skill but how many gambles did it take for your Jay to perfectly hit the enemies so they die during the silence time?
1. don't start Thorns' skill too early. save his first time for 1:40 2. Redeploy Jaye as early as you can. You have to make sure everyone dies in front of Jaye.
@@Leon-Arknights And thanks to ur advice, I won Siesta one! That means, under 1 month, I won multiple annis in order (won 6 and 8 prior): 5,10,13,4,9,12,7, is it normal for midgame player to achieve that for first times?
