Lol Ikr doing a toddler's hair is a race against time. You have about 20-30 max then they attempt to run away or have a complete meltdown. When our girls were younger puffs, twists and tiny braids were the go to styles🙂

@@AtHomeCookingAHC 😂😂😂 love those little baby swats. Whew lord. Good luck. Just do what you can now. From my experience, just doing ponytails at that age really helped get us comfortable and in a routine with sitting down to get his hair done. It wasn't until my son was 4-5 that he really started to understand that if you wanna look fly, you gotta just put that pretty little head in mama's lap and buckle down for the hours. We lived in a predominately ⚪ area so there was only maybe a handful of other black students at his school. Once he started school he was wayyy more tolerable of getting his hair done because he loved that it made him more unique and the other kids would ask him about it and want it done, too. Man, so many little ⚪ babies would ask me to do their hair, too. I had to explain to him and to them that we don't braid our hair simply for the style or design and the whole conversation about how we've been ridiculed for wearing our hairstyles. I only ever braided 1 whyite kids hair. He was my sons best friend & we were close with his parents. They'd been friends for almost 7 years at that point and they were doing matching Halloween costumes so I said fk it but this kid also knew why his people shouldn't braid their hair. If you ever have to give her melatonin you could sit her down & try after it kicks in. Other than that, really you just gotta keep working with her. It's all about repetition, she'll come around eventually lol.
