Our lovely friends Pete and Pippa invited us to Disney's Animal Kingdom DVC Moonlight Magic event just before Christmas.
We had a fun time hanging out with them and we were able to compare this event with the Hollywood Studios Moonlight Magic event we attended in the summer and there were so big differences.

Merry Christmas both! Hope you have a good Christmas. Love the tree decorations, we have a few Disney decorations on ours together with a few White House decorations we picked up in D.C. last year. Surprising to see so much closed in the park for an event night. You’ve got to feel for the DVC members as it didn’t seem there was a great deal of benefit for them bearing in mind the investment they make in DVC.

We did animal kingdom moonlight magic years ago I think it was the first one they did and it was when you only got free ice creams and popcorn and a drink ! It’s much better now ! No wait times were great ! I can’t remember pandora being there ! They are much better now with free food !

@@ThemeParkBazza no argument from me , they sed to do welcome home Wednesday every week but stopped it and replaced it with moonlight magic which if you are in the states and able to get a reservation is brilliant !

We bought it from the Character Warehouse at Vineland in the sale. I think it's in a vlog when we got it.

I don’t understand this obsession with going to these events and by having to get snacks all the time. I would have thought the whole idea is to be able to do the various rides and to be part of the Christmas magic.

Depends on the park. AK does not have many rides, and some of them were not open
