SNAIL Series: Why snails only come out after rain????? 

Do you notice that snails only come out after a rain? I wonder why?
I captured this video in our backyard after a heavy rain.
Snails came out in big number so this video only showed few of them.
I suspected they came out for food. In fact, snails come out or become active when only the surfaces are wet as they rely on moisture to survive.
